Morning Zia :sunny:

I found out I was wrong about the Greens votes going to Liberal. Now they're going to Labor. -Not that it matters to you anyway.
The two major parties don't seem to know what they have planned for the future, so I'll be putting in the Hippy vote by going for the Greens this time on Saturday.

Oww. I just paused to take a bite of my food and bit my cheek. That'll make me appreciate the times when I don't bite myself.

Have a super-duper day! :D

Oh Happy Day, is it Zia?
Happy Day would be a national internet populist swell campaign to WRITE-IN RON PAUL!! Instead, we will see the disintegration of the Republican Party post Obama win.

Hi Zia.

Wouldn't you know it, it's raining.
Rain yesterday, rain today, rain tomorrow.
Even lit the fire tonight.

Where are you today?
A bit of an animal.

Hi Zia

I didn't fave a birthday party. It was just a small family thing. We don't do much in the way of presents these days. What can people get adults? I got a rice cooker in a nice brushed stainless steel finish and a set of gleaming new cutlery. :)
No cake and cream for me. There was trifle for the others though.

It was actually my sis' birthday yesterday, so she got stuff too including a pressure cooker which is also in nice brushed stainless steel finish. -We like that classy look in my family.
My sis' and her bf had just been out to buy themselves presents too. They went to an opening sale for an electronics store nearby and picked up the tiniest of video cameras. It's about half the size of a digital SLR camera and even has 40x optical zoom!

BTW. Did you know we can get watermelon pretty much all year around here? I know the seedless watermelons you mentioned in a thread. We get those here too in red, orange and yellow varieties. Normal seeded watermelon comes in two types too. One thing we're spoiled for choice here is fruit and veggies. Have you seen or tried Durian? It looks like a dinosaur egg because it's egg shaped and is usually between 12-15" long. It's also covered in short, but very sharp pyramid shaped spikes that can really do damage when the fruit is frozen. Where I used to work, some dude was wearing thongs on his feet and dropped a durian on his foot.
I don't know why anyone would like to eat them. The edible part inside looks like some sort of pickled embryo and it smells and tastes like a fruity fart.

Have a nice evening/night :D

I can't type much right now on account my vision's a bit off because of slight dizziness caused my an inner ear infection. I'll be right in a couple of days, though.

:bagpuss:

Wimpy, come on. Take it like a man. Where's those vitamins you take.

I had an ear ache once and my friend who is holistic put a garlic clove in my ear and applied moist heat to it while I rested. I let her do it because I was at her home and I thought she was nuts too but, the ear ache went away and didn't return. I was shocked.

Hope you get well soon. And no, I've never had a durian. You must get all those Asian imports there. Tootle me love.

I'll be right, babe

I'm not sure I want a garlic clove in my ear. I am very interested in natural medicines though. I avoid taking pills wherever possible.
I remember taking some Chinese herbal medicine for a very bad case of the flu I had about 20 years ago. It went away in about three days!

Actually I've started taking Berocca which is a soluble B complex, because I don't think I'm getting enough B group vitamins, especially B12. Our bodies do sythesise B12, but only in very small quantities. The only other natural sources are from animal products.

I'm getting a lot more sun these days which I'm finding really helps me. :D
Just now I was outside brushing the fluffy little cat while she purred and munched on grass. Cats are sooooo cute!

Yes, Durian is imported from Thailand. It comes in frozen because it ripens very quickly. Understandably most Thai hotels don't allow durian indoors.

Cheers my Dear

Hey, I didn't want one in my ear either. You don't push inside the ear canal, sillyboy. You peel a clove and put in ear. Get a hot wet bath cloth and lay on your ear while you rest. Try it for about an half hour or more. Keep the cloth hot though. Don't knock it til you try it.
And.... you can't get anymore 'natural' than that.

Thanks for the tip. :)

Whatever floats your boat dear. There is more than one clove in a bulb and you've got more than one orifice in the . . .
Hey, have fun with it.
