How you was able to get up it? Did you find a place where your flats found a bit of grip?

I couldn't find anywhere that I could get any grip. I just kept trying harder and harder. The trouble was my shoes made the slope even more slippery when I slipped. I got up in the end but only by almost running at it and not stopping. As I said, my shoes were skidding all over the place and couldn't get any grip at all.

Looking back on it, yes it was quite fun but not at the time. I went back again a few days ago and tried again in my slippy flats. This time I wore clothes that wouldn't matter if I fell over. I'd got a short denim skirt and a sweat shirt top. They both wash easily so it's no problem if they get muddy.
Well we've had more rain since the first time I was there. the slope was VERY slippery and I couldn't even get part way up. I thought it would be good to learn the best way to manage this sort of thing in case it happens to me again. I tried various ways, small steps, big steps, fast, slow and anyting else I could think of.
Slowly didn't work too well. I just stopped and slipped evry time I tried to move. I found the best was going at it as fast as possible regardless of how much my shoes skidded. The problem is I fell down a bit but never badly. I almost made it all the way up a few times. My legs were going as fast as they could but my shoes were just slipping backwards leaving big skid marks.
It was a strange sensation feeling my nice little shoes slipping and unable to get any grip. I can't really explain it but certainly worth trying again sometime.

Women struggling in sexy stilettos

Postby drinkingdragon78 on Tue Dec 18, 2007 3:51 pm

Hi all,

This is a very interesting topic for me personally. I am a guy and absolutely love seeing a sexy girl in very high spikes. The way you girls move and the sound of the stilettos, especially on concrete, is so arousing. However my ultimate turn on is when I see you struggling on your heels on difficult surfaces. It's so sexy to see your movements and determined faces. My fav shoe is a nice pump with a 5-6 inch heel scraping on the concrete over cracks and so forth.

Not in a nasty way as I don't won't you to get hurt, but I love it when you stumble/trip/fall/break a heel...It's very sexy watching your delicate heels...imprisioned on your spikes of seduction.

I have only witnessed a few falls, but what a turn on. Your embarrassed blushy faces as you hit the deck is so cute.
The last fall I saw was last feburary on a very wet and icy morning, when a girl was crossing the road in front of me wearing probably 4-5 inch black pumps with a metal heel and ankle strap. The clicking and scraping was immense, but one small stumble on a small crack and she was down and out. I did ask if she was ok to which she simply but kindly replied "Yes thankyou, but it's my own fault for wearing these on a day like today."
Priceless!!! hehe.
Please keep posting these awesome stories of your misadventures!

Thanks,
James

I walked across the park today in my flats. They slipped and skidded all over the place on the wet grass. At one point there was a slight slope. I slipped so much I thought I wasn't going to get up it. I got there in the end but boy was I slipping a lot.

That sounds like a cool experience! What are your flats like, are they pointy or rounded and what are the bottsom like?

They were slightly pointed toes with smooth hard plastic soles. They were quite new so the soles were still shiny and slippery. I couldn't get any grip at all even though it was only a gentle slope. I left a lot of shiny skid marks on that slope where I slipped so much.
I know rubber soles are available but I hate those. They squeak when I walk along the corridor at work and look awful. The smooth soles are also easier to clean. A quick wipe over and they're like new. The rubber soles hold a lot of dirt and walk it into our house so are not so sensible.

Mmmm...I hate "squeaky squeaky" rubber soles too - all my shoes from my kitten heels to stilettos have nice smooth leather or synthetic soles, and the "wipe clean with a tissue" ability of them is ace, no horrid ridges that are impossible to get grit or mud out of - so no chance of damaging my nice floors.

Maybe I regretted my choice when I hit the sidewalk comming into work this morning - its seriously icy/snowy here atm - only damaged pride thank goodnes. Are there any other women who've braved the icy conditions in heels so far this winter?

What can I say - sometimes it hurts to be pretty, and I am not going to show up at my workplace wearing trainers!

Take care in those sexy stilettos people!

Hello, yep I'm one of them, not sure how brave i felt tho! LOL. I rushed out of a meeting straight from work in my office clothes to do some leaflet drops/canvassing political campaigning the other night.

My 4" heeled pumps looked and felt sooo much sexier when I'm at my nice indoor air-conditioned workplace than they felt when I was slithering my way down the icy sidewalks and driveways trying to encourage folks to vote!! Have these neighbourhoods not heard of grit-salt, Jesus, it was sooo treacherous, thank God I had someone with me or I would have gone down so many more times! I probably could have done more houses if I'd worn shoes that could have gotten some traction on the ice. My fault really.

All that walking as well. My feet still hurt now!

I sure hope Hillary wins in the end and it will all be worth it! Anyone else struggling out there in their stilettos today??

Last week here it snowed. more or less 10 in.
The first day of snow I played in the snow, with my pair of fur boots, and all was fine. They are completely flat, with a spongish-rubber sole. They are two years old and the treads on the sole are worn out. But the first day all was fine. The third day in the morning, when I leaved my house, the snow was much harder, and my boots started slipping everywhere. I was really in trouble. When I had to walk across some ruts made by cars, or the snow was uneven, my boots become completely tractionless, and I had to struggle very hard to avoid falling. I was very embarassed: two days before, it was all fine!
Then I had to descend a little gentle slope. Luckily there was an hand rail. I girpped firmly with both hands the rail, and proceeded very slowly. The first part was fine, then I felt abruptly my boots slipping. I hugged desperately the rail, and that was the only reason that kept me from falling down: my boots were slipping helplessly, without any traction at all. I kept slipping on the same spot for a bit, unable to do anything other than hugging the rail. When I was able to stop slipping I tried to proceed backwar but it was simply useless. I could not gain a single inch backward, with my legs flailing backward at full speed. I tried my best, without any success. With very small and slow steps, I tried to proceed forward, down the slope, still gripping very firmly with both hands the rail. At leas twice, I had to hug the rail and struggle to regain equilibrium and stop my boots from slipping desperately. Coming at home was a real relief.

I had to climb a gentle incline covered by hard packed snow and I was with my slicksoled boots, those I slipped with one week ago ('bout that time, I told some posts up)

What was happening when you tried to climb and did you enjoy how slippery your boots were?

Hi,

Any of you lovely ladies had any more embarrassing stiletto incidents lately?

I just can't tell you how sexy it is seeing a girl slightly struggling on her spikes. This causes some really arousing heel sounds on the ground ( especially wet pavement )

I enjoy it when you lot wear pumps with needle thin heels.
Do they turn you on as you walk in them, with that loud scraping.

I'd be pleased to hear of any incidents regarding losing a shoe/heel breaks/falls etc. And has this ever happened to anyone in front of a guy that made you embarrassed?

Get wearing them ladies!

Did anyone else get caught in the snow tonight?
I wore my usual stilettos to work as it was fine this morning. By home time it was quite white. I slipped and skidded all over the place getting home.
I didn't fall thank goodness but there were a few close calls.
