What experiences have you had, and do you ever have problems on your journey to work, - I guess maybe not as you say you drive.
Hope to hear from you soon.

Yeah, it was pouring with rain here this morning.
On my way to work I was slidding all over the place, and the path was really muddy.
When I reached the office it was a relief to take my shoes off and just go in my tights feet all day!!
I was wearing the shoes I mentioned in an earlier post, - black lace-ups with a smooth sole. To be honest, I know this sounds really lazy, but at the momment with all this awful weather I have given up cleaning my shoes, (which I hate doing anyway!!), and have just been leaving them muddy, and taking them off in the office. I know you probably think I am a lazy cow, but it is just less hasstle.
How was your journey this morning.
Hope to hear from you soon.

As I mentioned I have'nt been bothering cleaning my shoes, but someone in the office said that if you don't clean mud off shoes it will satin them.
I am thinking of just leaving my shoes muddy, and keeping another pair of heels to change into in the office rather than going shoeless as i have been.
Does anyone else do this. I think this is better than wearing uggs or wellies.
When I told my mum, she suggested keeping a pair of slipers in the office to chane into, but I don't think I can get away with that!!
Has anyone else had any slpping and slidding momments.

Thanks for your post.
In think you are right. The shoes I have been wearing to work were not very expensive, so I think I will just leave them muddy and take another pair to change into in the office.
I have been going in my stockings feet around the office, but don't want to do this in the longer term.
I had'nt suggested wellies, and for some reason my mum suggested slippers, but i agree they are not really suitable.
I take my shoes off as soon as I arrive home, so it does'nt matter if they stay mucky.
How are you coping and thanks for your advice.

I was going to buy a new pair of shoes for work last week. However, I have changed my mind and think that the best thing is just to carry on going shoeless in the office until Xmas, and then maybe look for a pair in the sales.
At first I felt self-conscious going in my stockings feet, but no one has complained and now I have become used to it and find it quite nice and a pleasant change from wearing heels all the time. How is everyone else coping?
