Heya all, I have a problem. Me and my fiancee use protection all the time, and we barely do it that often. We're getting married in May of 09, and I was supposed to start my period last week. I am stressed because I'm a Manager of a store at the mall, and I work at least 60 hours a week. The problem is, before I thought I was late I was experiencing some nausea, light-headed-ness, I eat more, I crave things that are just.. oddly craved, and I have mood swings, not dramatic ones. My breasts are sore. Now I'm at least a week late from my period, but I took two tests before I thought I was late a week ago and they came out negative.. then I was told I could still be pregnant, because it's not time for the test to tell yet.

Should I go and spend more money on a few more tests, and if I do and they come out negative, should I assume I'm not pregnant?

I really want a child, but my fiancee and I aren't ready yet, we would like to get married without me being pregnant, but if I have to, I will. (I don't believe in abortion, and I want a child with my future husband anyways.)

When is your period due? There is a new test out called first response it can detect if your pregnant b4 your due on.

Signs of pregnancy are; weeing more, itchy irritable nipples, brown marks on your stomach and obviously sickness.

To the first response, you are not a slut. Yes, it is a bad idea to have a baby that young. I hope that you have a good family support system set up because you will need it. I know several people who have had a baby at that age. It was hard but they are 23, 24, 25 and older now and doing just fine. Most of them are married and have great lives and can be done. Military is a great option too for you and your baby. If the father is still around ( I hope he is) then when he turns 18 please consider joining. I am glad you were able to carry. I have had 3 miscarriages (at 23 and waited till I got married) but it is hard no mater the age or situation.

i feel really sick in the morning and afternoon, get dizzy if i walk a lot i havn't had a period in over 2 years. but im starting to have little blood spots i usually only need the toilet 4-5 times a day and i have been at least 7 since 11 am i am also feeling really tired in the afternoons i have took a pregnancy test but it said it was invalid maby it was too early that was 2 weeks ago should i try again?

I'm 23 years old, married, have a child, Me and my husband have been trying for a baby for about 2 years now. Not had any luck, Went to infertility clinic and got all my hormone levels ect tested and it all came back clear, hubby got tests done and also came back clear. So we just didnt go back.
My period is generally regular, give and take a day or two. Last year i was around 5 days late, the tests were negative but I had convinced myself and my husband was convinced I was pregnant, then my period came an we were left gutted.

So I am now 9 days late, 3 negative tests later and still nothing. Symtoms wise, stomache's kinda bloated but nothin outta the ordinary as I gettin bloated at that time of the month anyway, boobs sort of sensitive an tender at times, again nothin unusual for that time of the month, Bein going to the toilet a lot more, Slighty ehm blocked up shall we say, getting kinda weird swirly feelings in my tummy like trapped wind feeling. Also around that time of the month my face around my mouth normally breaks out with spots, I've not had that this month. Keep getting this weird taste in my mouth, i dont know if i would class it as metallic type or taste and its not constant but it comes and goes.

I don't know if any of this sounds as though i could be pregnant or not
what do you think?
I dont wanna get our hopes up to be let down again, because the last time it really affected me mentally.

It sounds to me like you are definitely pregnant. Try another test in a week.

As far as you 14 and 15 year olds go -- I hope to hell for an unborn child's sake, you are not pregnant. Sluts should not have babies.

Having sex does not make you a slut at all. Sleeping with multiple guys does, but obviously this poster is in a serious relationship, so by no means woud she be a slut. I would suggest using a dictionary before calling someone a slut.

There are symptoms but is best to undergo a test it is just like using Fertility kits for testing your infertility.

There are natural signs or symptoms that one can tell if she's pregnant without using any pregnancy test. The most obvious symptom is vomitting of course and don't forget the cravings for foods like fruits that aren't in season yet. Also, the feeling of jealousy creeping into one's system - the feeling that your husband is cheating on you. There are symptoms too like doesn't want the smell of a certain perfume or even the smell of food, etc. That's what we call as the natural signs of pregnancy. But if you really want to have an accurate result to check if you're positive pregnant then consult some pregnancy test. Don't forget too, to have some fertility kits to know if you're capable of getting pregnant of not.
