I wanted to get a crossbow to put an end to it, but my current girlfriend is one of those cat-friendly types!

For a while now, i've had an increasing amount of cat excrement in my garden. This evening, when leaving my house, i noticed that my immediate neighbour had put a plate of food out to encourage the cats around for a feed, yet because they don't have a garden (just parking spaces), the cats are obviously crapping in my garden.
How would you suggest I deal with this? My neighbours are wimps, but I don't want to get into a shouting match in the street, but the practice of feeding every cat in the area needs to stop.
Should I write to them, or wait until they are both in and have a heated row about it?

Cats don't always bury their crap, its left on top for others to know whose dominant in that area. If you don't want your own cat, then you'll have to 'mark' your own territory yourself the same way they do.
