I think neo-con is a term that the left uses for strong conservative.

For example, Limbaugh, Savage, Hannity, and Levine are all neo-cons, and quite frankly, so am I.

It's the extremist who reside at both ends of the political spectrum i.e. left and right, that you have to worry about.

but then again, I thought that the term like neo-con is a pretty meaningless term too. Trying to define politics solely through left or right is a practice of extreme simplification. and both sides, taken to it's extreme, pretty much results in the same totalitarian state.
