With almost 50% divorce rate amongst straight couples in all western countries, noone should have children if this should be a valid argument. Also, I don't believe it to be true. I don't think maried gay people have higher divorcerate than straight. Can you document this? Remember we're talking MARRIED couples here, not just people in a short time relationships. So you prefer children to be raised in orphanages, rather than to be adopted by homosexuals? How is that better? Do they get more love do you think? Do you think an orphanage is a more stable enviroment, with all the workers coming and going? Do you think they get more adult attention when they have to compete for it with all the other children?

How about a new thread..I would post it but I am currently banned!

Make the subject "Who's rights come first, The rights of the adoptee or the right's of the adopter"

And we can discuss it further.

Do you have a child of your own?

have you seen the pain others have suffered here from one parent families?

Because kids are not idiots...they know it takes a man and woman to make a child.
They know if you made a decision to not have one (the opposite sex)... you made a decision that was to fulfill your own needs and not the needs of the child!

I've seen pain suffered from one parent families, I've seen pain suffered from two parent families, I've seen abusive familes, I've seen foster homes. Any other questions?

Ya... how does you proving that ANY parent can be a crap parent justify your position?

Because that's what you come across as doing!
Saying crap parents still raised children that were ok!
But do you know children of crap parents have a higher suicide, violence and criminal rate than children from good homes!
Take a guess at the rate of divorce among children of divorce!

Children of Columbine. What was their family like? Did their parents abuse them? Did they live in the ghetto? Were their parents gay?

The media tried really hard to blame it on Marilyn Manson but didn't put forth that negative hatred towards psychiatric drugs the kids were using which can promote violent reactions.

It wasn't the parents, it was not Marilyn Manson or KMFDM, it was the drugs the kids were put on.

So then... when the child of a gay couple goes on a killing spree....

Can I then use your argument too against gay parents?

Completely agree again Ronja.

As for gay marriage (civil partnership as its called in the UK) there are presently over 15,000 gay partnerships registered since 2005.

Guess how many annulments (the equivalent of divorce for civil partnerships) there have been to date?

NOT A SINGLE ONE!

Now, I think that says something very impressive.

Oh, yes, Kalell...

Since you are such a fan of statistics!

The current rate of divorce in the UK is 40%.

If there had been 15,000 heterosexual marriages in the same period,

STATISTICALLY that would mean 6,000 would fail.

In the UK around 4% of marriages end in 12 months.

So therefore, 1200 marriages have failed, compared with ZERO civil partnerships, in two years!

Study them statistics!

You want to say all gay parents are bad and that a child needs straight parents so you would be using that argument to conclude that all gay parents are bad so it's not the same. I'm not saying all straight parents are bad nor am I saying all straight parents are good. A gay parent isn't super parent meaning because they are gay that they will be better parents. Good and bad parents are just that.

Ok.. for the sake of arguement.. I conceed that point... but then I have to ask you..is it right for you to place the burden of scocial reform on the shoulders of the child?
because the child has to live with it until those reforms happen!

heterosexual choabitation failure rate is twice that than marriage!
I found those facts and posted them elsewhwere.

Easy.. you scenarios involved the person that gave BIRTH!
Giving birth imparts an understanding about self sacrifice that others cannot fully understand!

I can agree that an orphanage may be the last thing to do!
But, that's not what the homosexual agenda is about is it?
It's never about what's best for the child..it's about the rights of the homosexual!

An adoption agency is an AGENT looking out for the BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILD...if they deem it so.. so be it!
Problem is... the homosexual agenda wants to REMOVE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE AGENCY IN FAVOR OF THE ADOPTER!
THAT IS WRONG!

and...

If gays want to remove adoption agencies right to filter out bad parents, the only way they would do that is if gays forcefully made it so that you cannot examine their homes or say no to them because they are gay. That would be removing the agencies rights and you obviously don't understand that adoption agencies aren't the only way to adopt.

You can hire an adoption lawyer and even if you've been turned down by various adoption agencies, you can still adopt. You don't go through an adoption agency and alot of times, straight parents who were turned down repeatedly because adoption agencies found them to be unfit parents will go through adoption agencies and bribe the mothers to be with money and pay the lawyers off. Gays that have been turned down because they were gay use this procedure as they have to if they want to adopt.

Let's say you are giving up your baby for adoption. You had to choose between straight parents that were turned down by adoption agencies because they were unfit and maybe had a criminal past and gay parents who were only turned down because they were gay, who would you most likely allow to adopt your baby?

What homosexual statistics? Read the earlier post I wrote, or are you that dumb.

15,000 civil partnerships 2005-2007 - None have ended.

Of 15,000 heterosexual marriages in the same period, statistically, 1200 would have failed.

Clearly, a gay relationship is a LOT more stable!

Clearly you are far more naive than I suspected!
Or your just a naive liar!

Please... anyone with half a brain can spot biased propaganda like that a mile away!
