I have been experiencing itchy hands and feet over the last two months of the pregnancy... hadn't worried me at all but i was just reading a baby mag today which mentioned a condition i'd never heard of before... CHOLESTASIS. It really didn't say much at all about it, just that it can be quite dangerous. What is it and when would you be concerned re;symptoms?
If the itching is slight I wouldn't worry too much as this may just be down to swelling (late in pregnancy hands and feet swell) but make sure you mention this to your MW. But if it is severe then 'yes' please phone your maternity ward and get it checked out now...
