Well, I am disappointed in Edwards as well. I was also disappointed in the Clintons—Bill with Monica and Hillary, with her lover Vince Foster.

But let us not forget that John McCain came back from Vietnam to meet a wife who was overweight and on crutches from an automobile accident. He immediately caught up with Cindy, his trophy wife, and the rest is history.

So there is reason to understand.
