just failed my driving test...

Hi, failed my first test today! I got a serious for stalling- how annoying! and a dangrous for observation at junctions, which i could understand! Its so annoying though! Got my next one on the 24th August so not too far away! Better luck next time huh?

Failed today for the first time; I totally felt miserable for most of the day. Actually, I still do. But you guys are helpful.

Anyway, here's what I did in case anybody wants the help: didn't look behind me when backing, got stuck behind a bus, didn't come to a complete stop before entering an "intersection" (the drivetest parkinglot, mind you, which was in all ways EMPTY and BARREN).

I feel like a complete idiot. This makes me the third one of my friends group (there's probably thirty of us) to fail on the first try, and everybody knows my test was today and aghhhhh.

My boyfriend passed his test yesterday.. yaay. Hes so chuffed.

He got 12 minors.. so he just did it.

He was a nervous wreck though, still shaking when he got back home! He said his left leg was shaking so bad when he was doing his left reverse, but everything came together in the end

i am so annoyed with myself just failed my test for 2nd time i know i can do it but i get so nervous i end up making stupid mistakes. oh well 3rd time lucky!!!!!

mm i just failed today, isnt it the worst feeling...especially when its something really stupid what u fail for and u only have 4 minors at the end of the test arrghh, better luck next time eh

well...ive been waiting soo long to get my license..and now that the day has come..i get out there...and i FAIL!..but the instructor i had was a TOTAL b*tch!..she didnt even smile once...well first of all...i didnt look in a vacant parking lot and check for "oncoming" cars...and then...i used my mirrors to back up...soo yeah..i failed...and i almost had a heart attack!...i felt lower than low...i mean come on...everyone has their license..whats wrong with me?...so now im in the process of getting over it...i have to wait a week and try again...in my hometown...so maybe it will go better....

I passed second time around - my first was an absolute nightmare - I cut in front of someone on a busy roundabout, stalled and mounted the pavement at one point. My examiner was a nasty piece of work too. I think they train them at Army Boot Camp. My second was a dream - not one misdemeanour - my examiner was a sweetie. Mind you it probably helped that I gave him head before we set off. Try this tactic - it might just work if you're good enough !!

But don't worry, it will come together and you WILL pass. Good Luck

oh my lord! this web site made me feel so much better! I just failed my driver's test, and I went _ to see if I could find a list of celebrities who failed their tests so I could say to my friends,
"Yeah well, Bon Jovi failed HIS test! and it took Cher 3 times!!" hehe, anyway, I found this sight, and after reading what all you guys had to say, I feel so much better!! Hey, I failed this time. . . but theres allways next time, right? it aint the end of the world

I failed today for second time.
First time I really think I should have passed... apparantly didnt check down a road that was nothin to do with me! Apart from that a drove really well!

Today I was under more pressure to pass because it was my second test. I was miles more nervous and kept doing stupid things. It sunk in when I nearly flattened a family at a zebra crossing that maybe I'm not ready and that perhaps it's a good thing the test is so hard. It sucks when you fail, but I'd rather wait the extra 8 weeks, get a bit better, then pass than have passed last time and had noone to brake for me this afternoon when I was about to hit that family of 4...

I failed my test yesterday because "I used my mirrors too much" when reversing around a corner, I even did the reversing part perfectly. Apart from that I drove fine. It really annoyed me cos on my friend's test she totally messed up her reserving and her examiner let her do it again!!!!!!!

Spent yesterday trying to avoid people who passed first time and I'm comforting myself which the fact that most of the people I consider to be good drivers didn't pass their test first time.

There really is a lottery element to it, it's all about the examiner you get. Hopefully mine will be human next time.

I just failed my driver's test for the FOURTH time yesterday! FOUR! I even went to the DMV when it was closed and did three dry runs every week and I memorized every passage in the 2003 California DMV manual concerning the errors that I have made or can potentially receive! The first time was a complete nightmare too. I had a car honk at me and the guy flipped me off for stopping slightly too long at a stop sign. And what's this about "hollywood stops" or stopping "too dramatically"?

Ok so in LA you don't really need a car with all the public transportation and I'd have to pay thousands more for car insurance, gas, maintenance, and so fourth, but it's the f*cking principle! Argh, damn, this is why I hate driving!

But I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one having problems. I was on the edge of being a self proclaimed retard!

i just failed my driver's test for the first time today... and this site made me feel so much better... i felt so stupid.... like i'm the only person in the world who has ever failed their drivers test... it was soo stupid too.. i was so close to finishing... i was like 100 feet from being done when he failed me... oh well... better luck next time

i failed my 1st driving test yesterday and it really sucks! grrrr! i wish i could *smack* the examiners face and say his stupid but unfortunately i cannot coz he might be the same examiner i get when i take my 2nd test. (I hope not!!!)

anyways, here's my only freaking ERROR.....

-on a KEEP CLEAR sign in a residential area, i should maintain my normal speed 25/mph (residential area) then pass cautiously. REASON: might be rear-ended. = i tried to slow down and pass cautiously but still he mark me down on critical error as DISOBEYING TRAFFIC SIGNAL!! (DUH!!!!!) what the hell is he talking about....well i guess that's life!

do you think they do it on purpose for teen drivers to take their 2nd drive test? dang that little plastic card!!!!

I failed my first test today.



In our state, we do a parking exam before heading out on the road. You'd think that it would be soo easy...paralel parking... backing up and parking...

But the spaces I practiced on prior to this, were much larger than the ones on the test.



I am a good driver, but I didn't even make it to the road... God I feel stupid.

I started driving lesons a few years a go, and i've failed 3 tests. After each failed attempt, i'd leave it too long until i pulled my finger out and booked another.

My advice would be to keep going, dont take breaks like i've done. My theory cert. has run out so got to do that again It's just all so expensive!!!

hi im not anywhere near where you guys live, but i just failed my test this morning and couldnt take a nap because i am still thinking about it! so i also decided to look up celebrities who failed, and then i found this site. i think its fantastic that theres an actual forum for this topic becuase it allows people who have failed to share their feelings about it.

i now feel less alone.

my mistake was i speed up for more than 5 seconds before the 60 sign and it was a 40 zone during school hours. the bad luck was that it was 2 mins before the school times ended meaning that i wouldnt have failed outside the school times. anyway hope ya'll learn from this and good luck.
