well...ive been waiting soo long to get my license..and now that the day has come..i get out there...and i FAIL!..but the instructor i had was a TOTAL b*tch!..she didnt even smile once...well first of all...i didnt look in a vacant parking lot and check for "oncoming" cars...and then...i used my mirrors to back up...soo yeah..i failed...and i almost had a heart attack!...i felt lower than low...i mean come on...everyone has their license..whats wrong with me?...so now im in the process of getting over it...i have to wait a week and try again...in my hometown...so maybe it will go better....

I had my driving test today and failed so i can understand how you feel, isnt it annoying that some realy stupid people manage to pass their tests first time. I failed for swinging in to the wrong lane at a round about, which i realise was my fault, but they could be a bit more leanient considering how nervous people are! now i just keep kicking myself for it, becasue apart from that I only had 5 minors and if it wasnt for that then i wouldnt have to be catching the bus in the rain at 7 in the morning for the next 6 weeks until my next test

I failed twice and i was gutted, i nearly never went for my third but im glad i did, ive been driving over 9 years now
dont get down, i find that drivers that pass first time think they are clever on the road and more likely to have an accident in the first year.

WoW!! this made me feel so much better. I just failed my driving test today for the second time...I can't remember the last time I felt this HORRIBLE! I feel like the only person in the world that's not driving...I think this is what kept me from driving in the first place...never wanting to fail at it. Ugh!!!! It's good to know I'm not the only one who had this happen.... hopefully one more time will do the trick!!!!

Failed my driving test about 20 minutes ago, completely disgusted, waited sooooooooooo long 4 it and failed and the worst thing is I live in Belfast so from today (13th June) the next available test is the 23rd of september. Never felt so bad in my life.

I have just passed my driving test today.

It was my third time. My first time I was just terrible and I really shouldnt have been there. I changed driving instructor and immediately noticed the difference. (I was quite a nervous unconfident driver).

My second time I wasnt very nervous but failed on undue hesitation at a junction (otherwise I had 6 minors), I knew I had made the mistake but didnt realise it was a serious.

Today prior to the test I took 2 calms and Bach Rescue Remedy (as I did the second time), felt a bit nervous in the waiting room but once I got into the car I was kind of ok. I did my reverse park really well, managed to retrieve a wide reverse around a corner and passed with 7 minors.

All I can say is yesterday I really didnt feel that confident, Id had a terrible lesson but I talked myself through everything in the test and kept telling myself I could do it.

Believe me - dont give up the feeling when you pass is amazing.

I've looked at this site from time to time, i.e whenever i failed. I've taken over 7 tests- i live in London, test dates are hard to come by so i have also had to re-sit my theory a couple of times............

.............ANYWAY, then other day i FINALLY passed and i am testimony to the fact that if you keep trying, you will pass.....so DON'T GIVE UP!!!

I know exactly how you feel, i took my test this morning and really believed i had passed, i thought i did everything fine until the examiner told me i had two serious minors, basicly for not knowing what was in my blind spot. It feels so frustrating!

The dreaded driving test!! My boyfriend took his 1st test in May and failed for not stopping for an oncoming car whilst doing a left reverse So he booked up again straight away, and his next test in not far away (7th July) Hes a nervous wreck this time around, hes feeling the pressure big time. Its his birthday on the 11th July, and he wants to pass before he turns 18.

Im 17, and currently looking for a decent instructor to start lessons. Im dreading it though, after hearing how difficult it is nowadays to pass. My mom has only recently passed i n the last few years. It took her SEVEN tests (and that was in AUTOMATIC!)

Im dreading going through all this!
