Recently, with a friend, I joined a gym/health club. I was surprised to find that the changing area was a communial area. For the first couple of visits I was very self concious and did not take much notice of the room. About three weeks into my membership I was less self concious, everybody else was nude so why shouldn't I be, and I started to look around me.
DO WOMEN WEAR knickers ANY MORE?
In that changing room more than 50% of the women arrived without knickers and left not wearing them.
Gill and I spoke about this. She had also noticed. This week we went without. It felt good but I felt that everybody in the supermarket knew and was waiting for me to bend down.

It seems to be so. I hear from my ms. girlfriends all the time how they and other ladies they no going without underwear. Hey, it's all good you know? If it felt good, go for it, you aren't hurting anyone.

My avatar proves I do own and wear knickers, but it gets more complex than that. I wear them most of the time but tend not not when:

on hot summer days with sundresses/ summer dresses/ skirts;

with leggings;

with some soft trousers (I'm a washaholic and only wear trousers once before washing them);

with opaque tights; they stay up better, although I'm not a tights fan apart from the very cold winter months (modern knickers are not designed for warmth anyway).

Also I swim regularly and tend not to bother after the pool (they stick to your legs). Likewise if I am going straight from home to the pool I tend not to bother. I suspect this is the case with your Gym!

I wear a pair of knickers every day, I think I'd be uncomfortable and self conscious if wasn't wearing anything beneath my trousers or skirt. A gust of wind could expose my little fanny to the world . I was taught to love my naughty bits, but they should be private to everyone except myself and husband. I don't own thongs either, I like them over my bottom in a brief or boyshort style. If my skirt fell off only my panties would be visible to everyone

On a warm summer's day the feeling of freedom is lovely! As for exposing yourself, do you really think you are always flashing your knickers? If not you are not exposing yourself when you don't have any on either. I like to think my hemlines are in control. Therefore it is also beautifully discreet too. It's like having a little secret!

But on a winter's day with a skirt. No way!

I stopped wearing knickers 10+ years ago and I know lots of girls who've stopped wearing them as well. I just about always wear short skirts and I just love the feeling when I'm wearing a floaty skirt on a warm breezy day.
Ten reasons to stop wearing knickers: -
1. No more VPL.
2. No more Thrush, Vaginitis, Cystitis etc.
3. Quicker to get dressed.
4. Cooler in hot weather.
5. Less washing.
6. Ready for action.
7. Easier to go to the toilet.
8. More interesting for the men when you sit carelessly.
9. When wearing a skirt your interesting bits keep dryer.
10. A gentle breeze up your skirt is a very pleasant experience.

I'd recommend that every girl trys it, probably just at home to start with.

I try not to flash my knickers, but they're kinda like the final defense for shy miss vagina lol! I like my pretty knickers too much anyway, maybe I should buy some new thinner ones for the summer
