Yes, it is what people used to call manic depression. The sufferer alternates between states of mania where they rush around being hyper and then they are intensely depressed. During the up-swing they can also experience fear of the depression they know will follow. Why do you ask?

I know, so I've tried to change how I sit to work and anything else it could be, including buying new pillows which I also thought it could be.

I have been busy at work finishing a new product release that a prior team messed up. (They have been released.) My team would have completed it last week, but we encountered an unexpected and unrelated small delay. So I delayed my holiday (was supposed to be off today) to complete the remaining work.
