Hi Aqua, MissC.

MissC - is your car really in trouble???!!! I heard the weather in the North East was very bad. I heard my dad's home town Cramlington get a mention on the traffic news (major road close due to flooding). It was poor Aqua's flooding problems a few weeks ago.

Hope it's not going to be me next.... Oh God take Soxy or lucy instead, I beg of you...

Well my hubby took my car to his work, as I came in, and then he just rang for the AA number as he thought he could cross the lane that leads to his work (He didn't!!!).................I've told him to put the bottle of Vodka away, drinking doesn't solve anything and to get my poor beloved car out of the water.

No really it's out now, but he can't return home in it, totally impassable and it's get all my 'stuff' in :cry:

Bloody hell, it's grim up north.
My sympathies MissC, we were flooded at work last month. Not much fun.

I'll ring my mum. See how she is as she's not far from you.

Hello all

Wow MissCharlie, you are getting a lot of water there. I am sorry to hear that. I hope the water will drain quickly and your car does get damaged or float away. (One year, I was woken up by the sound of a car roof thumping against the bottom of a bridge as it was being carried away from the water.)

It is raining here too and I am going out to join my family for dinner. I hope the roads are not flooded.
