how many women own leather skirts but dont wear them? m a 34 year old women who always wears leather, i have thirty leather skirts in various lengths styles and colours, most are ankle length which i wear with boots and a satin blouse or knit jumper, there is nothing like the feeling when wearing a good quality fully satin lined leather skirt, you feel so classy, elegant, confident, feminin and sexy, everytime i wear one of my many leather skirts i always get coments from other women who say they have a leather skirt but havent worn it in years, or would like to have one but are to shy, but all say how nice a leather skirt looks and feels, any women of any age can look good wearing a leather skirt so come on ladies you should all treat yourselves and start wearing a leather skirt, there will certainly be more happy women about.

I have about a half dozen leather skirts, ranging from just above the knee to ankle length, and wear them frequently -- probably about half the time when I'm going "out" for a special occasion. I wore a black, ankle-length, slender black leather skirt to a party this last Saturday. Got lots of compliments on my overall look, although nobody mentioned the skirt in particular.

Love them, and mine definitely do not hang unused in the closet!

I have one brown leather 16" skirt. I don't wear it that often but I do like it in the winter. I don't have a lot that goes with it or places I can wear it but I do like it.

I love to see a woman wearing a leather skirt but only if it's of knee length or longer, a mini/micro leather skirt screams hooker at me whereas a classy lenghed one is fantastic to see on a woman of all ages.

I just wish more women wore them, good on you who do tho.

I’m 44 and so was in my 20’s when leather skirts first became fashionable in the 80’s. I used to have a couple of knee length pencil skirts which I used to wear to work and always got a lot of compliments (mind you I was a size 10!) I also used to wear leather minis a lot when I went out with my friends and went clubbing. Then I got married, gave my skirts to charity shops and never thought anymore about leather as I’m now a size 16 (I did briefly have leather trousers but didn’t suit me). Then, a few years ago I saw a very long (ankle length) black leather skirt in a shop. It was in a sale and on impulse and I went in and tried it on and bought it. My husband was none to happy as it was still quite expensive but I really like wearing it – though I’ve probably only worn it five times. I’ve worn it with a black polo neck jumper and a loose fitting gold blouse when we’ve gone for a meal and I’ve always been complimented on my look as another poster said. I also wore it when I went shopping once and got a long hoot from a van driver! There’s no split up the back so it does restrict my walking but feeling nice (and I don’t have to wear tights under it). I’ve always worn boots with it. I agree that mini skirts do look a bit tarty especially on the over 30’s. I think I would buy another leather skirt as I think they look classy and sophisticated.

as a red blooded man, i can only say that i find women in leather extremely sexy, confident, self assured which go together. there is a boldness i suppose involved in having the confidence to wear this in public but i also find that a very attractive character trait so PLEASE wear them as often as you can to as many places as you please. for gosh sakes who cares what other people think?

God I just love leather skirts of all lengths. I have them from micro/mini size to ankle length. My favourites are the micro/mini length so I disagree with 'mickeydawson' that they look 'tarty'. I like wearing my black leather micro skirt with black leather thigh boots with 4 inch killer heels, a black roll neck sweater and my black lewis leather lightning jacket. I have two jackets one that is still unadorned and straight black leather; the other has been customised with a !,000 silver studs and several chains. I adore both jackets paired with my leather skirts. And as 'chicagodoc' says I find wearing leather extremely sexy and it makes me confident and self assured and I like having the confidence to wear leather in public. Wearing leather makes me feel attractive. What I wear may not be to everyone's taste but it is mine and I wear my black leather with pride. I do have more conventional leather clothing but the outfit described is my preferred outfit to wear in public. Do not judge the wearer of leather without getting to know them. Mine is a bold statement But I lOVE being seen out in a total black leather outfit, that goes with my leather micro skirt. Black leather is so sensual and helps me express my personality.

I agree that leather skirts should not be worn too short, and just above the knee or knee length is best for any image you are trying to send. My leather skirts are all within the knee to just above the knee length. Leather skirts normally matched with pantyhose and heels or high boots with heels.

For more casual kick back day to day flying around I wear shorter denim skirts that I find very comfortable doing almost anything the day brings. Casual denim skirts normally matched with panties and flats or sandals.

Love the comfort of skirts.

Just had to come back to this blog and assert that wearing leather skirts is so damn sexy. Wearing leather, particularly black leather, the shinier the better, from head to toe is amazingly a turn on and I love the way my guy is incredibly supportive of my liking for all things leather.that is I wear leather EVERYDAY and leather skirts are so soft to touch and very sensual to wear.I love the feel of leather against my skin, it make me feel desierable and what woman does not want that. I LOVE LEATHER XXX
