Leggings worn without knickers

Since the emergence of leggings last year, I have taken to them in a big way. However, I wear them without knickers! Am I unusual in this practice?

I have tried several makes, but found the most comfortable ones, were from the Limited Edition at M&S. I find them very comfortable around the nether regions, and they feel sexy, and make my legs look great! In the winter, I have worn them under trousers as thermal panties to keep me warm. Do others find leggings comfortable and sexy, especially without knickers?

If i do wear leggings then never wear knickers under them, what is the point in doubling up.

I'm usually without knickers when I wear them.

With leggings, some soft trousers and very soft opaque tights (not sheer tights - ouch! - the thought - but I don't wear those anyway), it's usually more comfy with nothing underneath providing you select brands carefully. Some have a nasty seam which could threaten to deflower you for a second time!

I never wear panties under my leggings. Beside the dreaded VPL! No mater what type of underwear I wear.

I only really wear panties if I am not wearing any tights or leggings. If its bare legs, stockings or holdups then I put on a matching set of knickers.

Whenever I wear leggings i don't wear any underwear - don't see the poiny really.

When I wear leggings, it depends on a number of factors whether I wear underwear, i.e. the time of the month, colour of the leggings, what else I am wearing with them. If I'm going out in them, I wear a gstring underneath.

I can always see the line of any type of Thong, panties etc under my leggings so if my bottom is showing, ie I don't have a long top to cover it, I do not wear anything underneath. Nothing worst than a vpl!

i never wore knickers under mine in the 90`s so i aint gonna wear knickers under them now and i know for sure my 15 year old daughter would freak if i told her to wear knickers under them

I never thought about it but I suppose you could go sans panties with them. I never have cause I'm so used to wearing panties under anything.

I dont wear knickers with leggings either. You can always see the pantie line through them and it doesnt matter which style of knickers you wear.

Wearing leggings is very comfortable and people look great wearing them. Many like the form fitting feel of wearing leggings. The fit is right when the fit is tight. When wearing leggings you don't need any underwear and I advise people to pull them on all the way up for a "glove fit." With a Coolmax gusset you don't need the underwear. Wearing underwear spoils the comfort, fit and feel of leggings. You don't need shorts or a skirt over leggings, they are fine on their own.
When you do wear leggings, choose a well made pair - not with cotton fibers that bag out over time but a high tech fiber that retains its shape. Get over the body image constraints and just wear them. Go for the comfort and support. Leggings that go to the ankle have a greater positive visual aesthetic than capri style that chop the leg. I have already said that I don't usually wear knickers with leggings.; the same applies to some of my softer trousers if they don't have a nasty seam.

I'm also not going to pretend to understand modern hi-tech fibers but with leggings if I'm not going to wear anything underneath I have always gone for a high cotton content for comfort, likewise I would not wear knickers without a cotton gusset (never heard of undies with a Coolmax gusset whatever that is but the name itself sounds expensive which isn't quite what leggings or knickers for that matter are really about).

Around the house, I wear them with shortish tops but going out, always wear a top that drops below my bum!

One of the reasons some people stopped wearing leggings the last time around when they were popular (1980s and 1990s) was because there were some cheaply made cotton leggings that didn't stand up to the test of time. People didn't like the baggy knees look as their pair of leggings aged. Today you can still purchase cheaply made leggings that will also over time, yield the same results. However there are leggings manufactured that might have a price that is a bit more to start, but have greater durability, will last much longer and in the long run will cost less by not having to replace them as soon. Plus having the added benefit of feeling and looking better all the time you wear them.
One other aspect of cotton is that when it gets wet (perspiration, etc.) it stays wet. The leggings that I offer are made of Supplex® and LYCRA®, two fibers that provide for great fit, feel, durability and wickability. When you wash them, they dry in half the time of cotton based leggings. For even greater wickability and comfort, these leggings have a COOLMAX® gusset. To quote from the manufacturer's website - COOLMAX® fabric moves perspiration away from the body to the fabric's outer surface, where it can evaporate quickly. This thermoregulatory effect helps consumers stay drier and more comfortable.
Starshine, I am sure you would enjoy these leggings, hope you would find them affordable and also know that you would look great wearing them. It is ultimately about the comfort. Go for it!

I often wearing snug black leggings under my short little denim miniskirt - it means I can wear a shorter skirt than I would normally dare!

But I have to admit to wearing knickers underneath in case I show too much when I sit down!!
