it depends wat color hair u have. if u have medium brown hair, it would probably mess it up real bad, otherwise, tuen it 2 orange. if u have dirty blonde hair, it'll work out perfectly. i have black hair and i'm afraid 2 do it because i'm afraid it mite turn out gray. i don't know about black hair. if u find out anythin about it,

It will lighten it though, especially if you spritz some lemon jiuce mixed with water in your hair, and then go out in the sun. I do it al the time to lighten up my dirty blonde hair

What about black hair, what color does it make it turn into if u have black hair? if any1 has any answers,

The best way to do this, for even cover, is to fill a spray bottle with lemon juice and water, to be safe, try 50-50 and see how that works, and add more lemon the next time for lighter results. Spray your hair when it's wet, and comb the lemon juice through. Keep doing this while you're outside, but don't put lemon juice in and then jump in a chlorine pool, then you'll get green hair. After an hour in the sun, go wash it out and use a heavy conditioner.

You can also use lemon shampoos and conditioners in the summer and leave your hair wet, and go out in the sun for about 30min. Your hair will gradually get lighter.

As it has been said before, it will go orange. Now, I can't say this from experience, but honestly, it can't just go from black to orange like that. It does have to go brown before that, so I'm guessing as long as your not in the sun for too long, it should be alright. But once again, I'm not sure about that, so don't hold me to it.

And let me explain something. As it was said earlier, the lemon juice takes out the pigment. But you can't just take a blowdryer to. In order for the pigment to be removed, you have to have UV rays, which you get from the sun. Also in case you weren't aware, the sun is still out on cloudy days, and you may sitll be soakin up those UV rays (every spend time outside on a cloudy day but get a mad tan? that's the UV rays for ya!)

So best of luck to y'all, hope you get some good results!

when your hair gets lighter in the sun, is it because the sun takes pigment away?

do you think lemon juice will make red hair lighter in the same way?

I get the basic jist of it but after i have been in the sun do i immediatly go wash it out or do i wait and if so for how long?! i would really like to do it asap.
