lemon juice hair dye

ive just put a very light brown dye on a black dye but its still dark so i washed my hair in lemon juice but didnt go out in sun cuz there isnt any!! is there anything else i can do to get it light brown apart from dye???

I use lemon juice every summer, and my hair turns the prettiest color, just spray it on and sit in the sun, after you get the color you want, stop using the lemon juice, be sure and use conditioner after you shampoo it out.

OK.. is your hair like really black like even when you hold it up to the light? or is it a reddy black or a browny black when you hold it up to the light?

if it is truly black, then nothing will happen if you put lemon juice in it... nothing.

if it is reddy black the lemon highlights will probably look pretty good in your hair but won't be blond, kind of reddy brown.


if it is browny black then the highlights will probably be a lighter shade of your natural hair color like a dark brown, but definitly brown, not black.


if I was you i'd do it !! i mean it takes a few times to work, it like a sun tan and it fades, like a sun tan. if you don't like it by the time it starts working just don't do it again and it'll go away.
but it's a natural process nothing fake like dies so it should look okay on anyone!

like i said before it's like a sun tan so you can go to a tanning bed with lemon juice in your hair

but if your not into that their is always UV rays, even in the winter, they're just in higher numbers in the summer, so just spend some time outside with it in your hair

personally when it's winter i let my hair stay dark and my skin stay light it looks natural, because it is and i am not into looking fake

Okay so I washed my hair then when it was wet I put the lemon juice i my hair and combed it. Well, I let it air dry and my grandma said it looked lighter. So, I'm wondering: when people say that you have to go out in the sun for it to work, where did they get this idea. lol Idk, but if you want your hair to be slightly lighter I suggest doing what I did.

i have darker brown hair buti color my bangs bright red. my dad told me to use peroxide and lemon juice to take the color out completly so that i can put the red in brighter, because it really doesnt show in my hair. is that o to use ir will it kill my hair???!!?

so. my natural hair color is medium brown and i had it blonde for like a year. so i got my natural hair color back like 2 days ago. (died in so i dont have to keep dying my hair blonde) I think it is way to dark for my liking. I was wondering what color my hair would be if i put the lemon juice in it. Also there is like to red highlights up front that i hate. I cant stand having red hair. So tell me if my hair will turn red or orange. and if my hair will turn like a dirty blonde or a light brown. Dont use lemon juice!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like i thought it worked cause i used it all the time when i was little to get my hair lighter,and yes my hair did turn honey blonde which i thought was really pretty.
But one day i woke up and my hair had fallen out.
Just because all the acid from the lemons burns out your pigmants.
