Is there any mainframe guy's or ladies around here that knows cics (Customer Information Control System) and what can you tell me about it as I am very interested in learning all I can about it.

Please let me know if you have any info :D

Forgotten more about that than I even knew :D
Essentially it is a transaction server that runs primarily on IBM mainframe systems under z/OS or z/VSE - CICS being a TPS (transaction processing system).

Have you looked at the WIKI and related links - there seems to be a broad brush of info there, depending on what you're after?
