Maxine Carr to have boob job on NHS

Postby sarah1000 » Thu Mar 27, 2008 12:40 pm

This is so wrong. She should not be allowed this operation.
I had to pay for mine and i am not convicted for covering up a murder.

this is disgusting news.

(Maxine Carr was jailed for almost four years after lying to cover-up Huntley's murder of 10-year-old friends Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells).

Oh, for heaven sake, leave the poor woman alone. Are you guys even aware of the abuse she suffered at the hands of Huntly?
I say good on her for getting this done, it'll increase her confidence, which is what any victim of domestic violence deserves.

Criminal or not it's pretty ridiculous that the NHS pays for breast enlargements.

I'd preffer it if the NHS would be more genrous with assisting dental bills for people who cant afford treatment and are in discomfort sometimes, or services offered to people who NEED treatment, not fancy it to be honest...
I'm not small the world is tall so get over it!

Because I don't believe she is evil. If anyone even bothered to find out what actually went on, you'd think differently.
This poor woman was beaten, and raped by Huntly. Like many victims of domestic violence, she stayed with him, and he ended up coercing her into lying for him.
But why am I saying this? Because she is a victim. Nothing more, nothing less.

You know nothing about this case, or, if you do, not to extent that I do. I, for one, would not say such a thing if I did not believe it to be true.
You can think what you like, but the fact is, Carr has as much right to a boob job than any other woman does.
Get over it.

Only in the UK would this happen

Staggering to know this is where our taxes are going.

No wonder the NHS is in such a state

The GP who "authorised" such a waste of public money should be named and shamed

Of course, Carr is entitled to have whatever cosmetic surgery she wants. But WHY SHOULD the NHS pay for it?

that is what i am disputing here. There are very sick people out there in need of very expensive medical treatment and out money should be going to helping them, not someone who needs to boost her self confidence. like the rest of us who need a boost, we pay for it ourselves.

Maybe the NHS could pay for me to have surgery too. i know about being a victim of domestic abuse and nobody has offered to pay to make me feel more confident.

Id like to see you say that to the parents of those 2 girls that are dead.

Poor Maxine. If you feel so bad for her you pay for her to have larger tits. While there see if theyll do something about transplanting that brain of yours
