men shaving legs

I think the best way to go about shaving your legs,is,after you shower take a good look at your whole body.Does it look good with all that hair? Then don't just think about shaving your legs go for it.Then don't stop there, just shave everything from the neck down. After you are done shaving then look again in the mirror and say to yourself how very good you look and feel without that hair.I did my body this way and have shaved eversince.Btw I went and had my legs lasered. They never looked and felt so good.I guess what I'm saying is,if thats what you want to do,then GO FOR IT.You"ll be glad you did.

meh. personally I like my hairy legs (i'm short of Yeti) - feels nice also when mtbing and feeling the wind past my legs

shaving your legs is worth only if you like smooth legs or wearing pantyhose etc...

Last night while shopping at the Super Market, I noticed a man who shaved his legs. From a distance, it was hard to tell if they were actually shaved or not, but as I stood behind him in line, I noticed they were shaved. While his legs were shaved, his arms however were not.

I noticed another young man standing in line that did not have shaved legs, but he did shave his arms.

Men are becoming more aware of their appearance and are starting to remove body hair. One thing I don't understand is why would you shave your arms but not your legs, or shave your legs but not your arms? I would think if a person wanted to shave either their legs or arms, they would go ahead and shave both.

I have been thinking about shaving my body, but I am not sure how others would react (family and friends). For those of you who shave, have you had any reaction from family and/or friends? If so, what was their reaction and how did you respond to them.

I think the shaved look on a man looks good, not sure how it would look on me.

I despair for the future of the human race when I read some of the posts on this forum. I mean, honestly - men who shave their legs are "gay" or "trannies"? The very idea that the condition of one's legs determines their sexual preference is beyone believe!

Do you like being a sheep, always conforming to what society "expects" of the two genders? Well, I say F*** society, and F*** anyone who gives a damn about what people do with their own bodies!

I trim the hair on my body, not my arms though... My lower body is as hairy as a gorilla is. Thankfully though, I dont have any hair on my back. But I do have an Austin Power's type hair patch on my chest. Seriously, I am freakishly hair on my lower half. I tried completely removing it with nair, but when it grew back, in what it seemed like a mere few hours, I have literally hundreds of ingrown hairs. Its awful!

Now all I do is trim my lower body. I cut it short enough to look normal, yet not so much that its obvious that I trim it. But still, the hair is so coarse and thick that it almost looks like I have a trimmed beard growing on my lower body!

The worst part is, women are extremely turned off by it. This one girl rubbed her hand on my leg, and I saw the look of disgust on her face. She actually said, "Oh my gaaawwd, thats so gross!"

You better believe it, if I knew of a way, at least one that I can afford, that I can remove that hair without getting all those ingrown hairs, I would do it. Am I gay for wanting to remove my lower body hair? No, not gay, but I am certainly traumatized by it.

I started shaving my legs about 5 years ago. 3 years ago I switched to an electric epilator. Lasts about 7 to 10 days for me. I now remove hair from neck down. Have 2 patches on my back I can't reach. I am 51 year old man whose legs look better than many younger women. I don't care if you like it or not. It feels incredibly good. I am 5 feet 10 inches and 230 pounds mostly on top half. Will kick your ass or collapse trying if you challenge my manhood. A real man just does'nt give a rats ass what anybody else thinks.

I used to think "gay" seeing men with shaved legs. Now with atheletes and metros also doing it, I just think the guy is trying hard to look good or "pretty" (the fun ones). You will be seen as very "metro" by doing it. You can hide them a little, people don't usually notice. When they notice, they really notice I'd think and really check out the rest of you.

Men shaving their legs

Postby Manny26178 on Sun Feb 04, 2007 9:11 pm

:D I've been shaving my legs since I was 18, I'm now 29! I just love the feeling of hairless legs they look so smooth, lovely and I'd never go back to having hairy legs again - never! I've also shaved my underarms, arms and my chest and accompanied with smooth hairless legs I feel very sexy and in no hurry to grow the hair back it's a gr8 feeling it really is. The way I see it is that it's my body and if I want to shave my legs, chest or whatever it's my choice

You guys can always use an epilator, I have one and it works really well.

Although it's painful! I use it a lot for peach fuzz all over my body, legs, underarms, and face. Problem is, it hurts A LOT the first time, second times a lot better, and third is no sweat.

Anywho I know you guys are that, men, but if you want something that will help your hair grow in thinner, less often, and eventually "I believe", not at all, you can try one of these.

I have the Braun 5270 Silk-epill

Hehe, please try one, I want to hear the screaming. LOL.

I'm 30 years old and have been shaving my legs since I was 22. I have never once had a negative comment. The only comments I ever get are good one's and thats actually quite often. My legs are fairly muscular and I also tan, so that helps a bit.
One more thing, I am absolutely not gay. It's ridiculous to think a man would be gay just because he shaves. Don't you people ever take a look at some of your favorite male actors?

I am 51 yrs old male and married. I just started to shave my legs and trimmed my chest hair. Not sure yet if I want to go complete hairless body. I tan during winter and I like the way my legs look, feel and shine.
I expect my wife to shave so why should I not follow the same rule. She has not made comment either way. I imagine most women prefer smooth shiny bodies. :D
