I have noticed a number of men with shaved legs lately. Curious, I decided to shave mine since they were not very hairy to start with. Since shaving them, I have not received one negative comment. I love how they look and feel. Since shaving my legs, I decided to shave the rest of my body and can't imagine ever letting it grow back.

Smooth is the way to go, and by the way, my girlfriend absolutely loves it!

I think it's so not gay, I think it's down purely to one's personal preference and I'm glad BlondAdultGirl thinks it's SEXY on a man that he's legs are shaved and that's great to hear! Like it or not I'm never going to stop shaving my legs they look so smooth and sexy. Never once have I ever had stares or anyone stopping me when I'm out in the summer with shorts on showing off my shaved bare legs and giving me negative comments. I mean if we can allow girls to be tomboys and women to wear trousers then surely we can have some freedom and choice on whether we (men) would like to have hairy or shaved legs and 99.9999% I'd opt for the latter no argument!!!!

I like to shave my legs, although I don't do it often because I find within a day or so they start to get itchy ='(.

You could always try Veet Hair Removal Cream it's available in Boots, Superdrug and pharmacies, I use that to remove my leg hairs oh and there's Veet Waxing Strips also give them a try too.
For the itching which is very common I normally use baby lotion on my legs straight after shaving, not only do they look smooth but the lotion for me takes away the stinging and itchiness that follows soon after. There you go from someone who has been shaving my legs for nearly 13 yrs and I'd never stop now!

I just shaved my very dark hairy legs for the first time, feels great. That was after getting off the river 2 days ago (I kayak) and going to a meeting and I could almost see the stink coming off me (river water). Pitts and legs, feels better. And for what it's worth, I had a girlfirend ask me to shave my legs once and laughed. Probably why she dumped me; but she had a thing about body hair. I should have listened. And for the other idiots, I am very Hetero. But crap, it took like 2 hours!

Thanx Holey 1, I'm glad your Sydney gf approves of it, as you have found out there's absolutely NOTHING wrong in a guy shaving his legs, arms, chest or underarm hairs and I can tell you one thing it's the best choice I made nearly 13yrs ago I can tell ya! I'm more of a meterosexual and really there's no shame in that I think. I think a lot of girls/women prefer men now to shave their legs or chest or whatever. I always go out in the summer with shorts on with my shaved bare legs on show and NEVER have I had any bad feedback. I back body shaving for MEN 1,000%

yeh a few people know i do, as they have seen my arms a bit smooth. And i work in a trade. Who really cares anyways, metrosexual look is here, well they are telling us that by the guys on the catwalk that you can see on the tv network news on a regular basis. Articles on guys usung cremes ( I dont) Guys man bags,guys were wearing white pants on the catwalk for this winter, etc,etc.

Make sure you use an electric trimmer to trim the hair as short as possible before shaving. It is best to shave you legs while in the shower. Take a long hot shower so that the hair on your legs will be softer. Make sure you use a new razor blade and clean the blade often. I recently tried the Venus Breeze (a razor made for women that does not require the use of shaving cream). If you go against the grain, you will get a smoother look. After you shave, you will want to use a moisturizer as you will find that your legs will dry out faster now.

Do you plan to move on up and shave more of your body? Why not shave it all? I am shaved from the neck down and my girlfriend loves it! Better yet, take turns shaving each other! You will find that sex will go to a higher level as your smooth bodies touch!
