It takes a real man to not be afraid to sit out of courtesy for the woman who has to clean the bathroom.

You have a good point there. Any man who thinks that it is ok to splash pee over everywhere has to be a real pig. My wife insisted that I sit at home, so I did it to please her. I have now done it full time for several years and will never go back to standing.

personally, i've sat down to pee all my life except when urinals are available. It's just easier and less of a mess.

My bf sits when he pees but that is actually kind of weird for me. I had never seen or heard of a man not standing until I met him. He says that he started doing it because his ex-wife complained about cleaning up after him. My solution would have been for him to take some tissue and wipe the seat before he flushed. He, however chose to sit instead.

Simple solution to this problem: Install urinals! When urinals are unavailable be considerate: Aim well, be in close proximity to the target (this is a short range tactical, not long range strategic mission), if your aim is off cleanup after yourself (take a bit of TP and wipe the rim). If you're piss face drunk and can't stand or aim than sit.

It is thought that men only made women sit/squat to exert their authority many years ago, so they could pee higher and further. But we females can pee harder, higher and more and standing with a bit of practise (then men sometimes need aiming practise now!) so its about time the roles were reversed.

Simple solution to this problem: Install urinals! When urinals are unavailable be considerate:

Urinals are totally disgusting and should never have been invented. If you had a penis for peeing would you like to stand at a urinal and pull it out in front of everybody?

It's because the vast majority of males of coco*pop's acquaintance wear trousers with flies, Mac. They all find it easier to unzip and pee standing, as if you didn't know, you rascal!

I do not see what the argument is all about.

I choose to sit at home (it does not matter in public loos - they get cleaned irrespective of what one does).

I have consideration for my Partner who cleans the loo (her choice - before you go off at a tangent).

Also it gives one a little time to contemplate what one will do next. I might be thinking what I shall cook for tea - assuming I have just arrived home from work - I might just browse one of the magazines we keep in the loo.

I am pleased to see that so many men do this - I thought I was in a minority, but it seems that there is quite a movement (no pun intended) out there.

Should we now be asking - why do women not stand, a little practise and I am sure they could perfect it!!!

wad?!?!?! a proper man with a penis sitting down to piss is a little strange...i tried sitting down to piss before...but there was a problem. sometimes i just have a full bladder and the pressure of the piss is too strong, some piss might rebounce, splatter out, and sometimes it flew through the gap betwenn the toilet seat and the toilet bowl! ewww! so how? maybe a special kind of toilet bowl should be created!

To pee one must unzip, but to get naked to pee is embarressing. I read this posts and man laugh when I test. Is not natural to sit crouch against wall and naked with man's toilet.
