I think this is the attraction for men in wearing women's jeans. Most women's jeans have a bit of spandex woven in with the cotton so they give, so in case, for whatever reason, you're bloated, they will still be comfortable.

As I suffer from IBS, and subsequently get bloated at times, I too appreciate the give in women's jeans. It's not so much about fashion -- most men's jeans are fine -- it's just the stretchability I appreciate without having to resort to those awful (and obvious) elasticated waistbands you find on some men's jeans.

Went for the Roy Rogers and Gene Autry tight style of western cowboy pants they wore in their great careers but not available in menswear, anywear, anymore; something is wrong here. When in Rome----.

I guess I could use the excuse about "buying it for my girlfriend", but I'm single now and all my female friends are pretty conservative (they'll think I'm super-weird if they find out I like wearing female clothing).

So what do I do? Is internet shopping the only thing I can do?

The shop staff are not answerable as to why you are buying womens clothes! Women don't get questioned if they buy or wear mens clothes! I find it strange if a female in a trousers questions why a man wants to wear or buy a skirt. We are all supposed to be born equal. There is a human rights act saying so and anyone can use / quote it.

Your friends have no right to judge you either, it's your life. Sexual equality seems to kick in when it suits some people. The only masculine clothes I have are a few mens shirts.

Internet shopping isn't always the answer, I know you are unknown to them, but womens clothes on a male owned card... Sometimes posting and packaging can cost more than the cheaper stuff from Asda or Tesco.

It would just be as easy possibly to find a female friend who doesn't mind, and have her buy it for you, or at least give her the money.

In have a friend, David, who went into a New Look to get some nice stuff for his girlfriend, they teased him perpetually after it thinking he was wearing it (he worked in the shopping centre the shop is in) he got fed up and they ended up getting disciplined. They were telling their friends he bought womens underwear etc, and what exactly he bought her. It was an intrusion of both their privacies.

My friend mentioned in the web link attached to this message does loads for charity, I'm in admiration at what he has done, and about to do. If in fancy dress, he uses charity shops mainly, they generally don't care what he buys. He has been a policewoman, a nurse, Fernch tart etc, and bought most of his skirts etc from Cancer Care and NSPCC shops. He has even bought stuff from charity shops, then gave it to other charity shops the same day, so the same clothes make money twice for two different charities.

Cool! He deserves a knighthood!

He has also though said he is in charge of the 'wardrobe' for a little theatre company, so it's his job to buy the 'costumes'. He does do theatre though. He just walks in with a list, picks the stuff, and mentally 'ticks it off'.

A charity shop in Ayr even gave him stuff at a reduced price when they found out he was doing stuff for Comic Relief! He took it all back when he was finished to sell on again..

He buys his underwear from Asda, there is one checkout operator there knows about his work, and he often uses the selfscan checkouts too. I buy him stuff as well when he needs it. I have no problem there. He now owns some of my cast offs.

I wear girls jeans they're Great

Postby Wglide90 on Tue Jul 31, 2007 2:24 pm

Hi folks, I have been wearing girls low rise jeans for 3 years now and have had now bad comments about them. I've been pinched in butt by girls in crowds.

I wear Dorinha Super Ultra Low Rise w/ 1" zipper, I have 10 pairs. I have JLo's, Levis, Sqweez, and others, but Dorinha's are my absolute favorite. I had to give my girlfriend a pair, now I have to get more for me.

They fit great in size 9 (I think same as 11 in our US sizes), I have 32" waist and 38" butt. These jeans fit and stretch so nicely they are the most comfotable clothes I have. I've pretty much given up wearing mens jeans, just too bulky and uncomfotable.

I've bought jeans in girls stores and no one thinks twice about it. I get the Dorinha's from the internet out of Vancover, Ca. I recommend them to any girl or man that has the body to fit in them.

I have bought all of my jeans and dress pants over the internet from either alloy.com or delias.com, since 2001. The job where I work requires black, or nearly black, pants, so when I find a pair of black pants available in my size (variable from 17 to 19, with 36 or 37 inch inseam) from either vendor, and happen to have some spare cash (doesn't often coincide, unfortunately), I order them. Doesn't matter whether they zip to the right or left, or have pockets or not, or even whether the zipper is in front or on the left side or in the back! Since my uniform shirt is normally untucked, nobody notices. And if they occasionally do, I simply tell them the truth, mostly--they fit better, they feel better (never could stand the feeling of loose in the crotch jeans), they look better, and they have alot more variety, than any menswear equivalent.

And they can be purchased in a long enough inseam to fit my 6' 3", somewhat overweight body. The men's size equivalent isn't available at any comparable price, to my knowledge, even over the internet, and certainly not in your average brick and mortar store, in an equivalent inseam (TRY, sometime, to find men's size 44 or 42 in 38" or even 36" inseam in Wal-Mart, Sears, or JC Penney). Whereas, MUDD, Piper, Spacegirlz, or Delia's size 17 or 19 in 37" or 36" fit beautifully, and cost no more than $45, sometimes a lot less during clearance sales. This is a no-brainer!!

It is unusual to hear a guy say that he doesn't need pockets or that side or back zippers are ok! How do you manage without pockets or a front zipper?

I don't see how that has anything to do with the lack of pockets or the location of the zipper.

On a slightly different note, a security guard at my local Tesco got serious grief off locals when he refused to let in a male whom he believed was wearing women jeans!!

My required "uniform" shirt has 2 very generous sized pockets, that do well to hold, temporarily, my rather small wallet; I hang my keys from a belt loop (if the pants didn't originally come with belt loops, I add them myself with my sewing machine, as my job requires the use of a portable radio, which is most conveniently hung from a belt); Since I usually bring a small bag with things in it that I have often needed (naproxin, L-Tyrosine, nose spray, nail clippers...you get the idea), I can store the wallet, cell phone, etc. in there. As to the zipper placement, I prefer, as apparently alot of women do, style over function. Plus, if I am wearing pantihose, as I often do, it is no more convenient to stand than it is to sit, aiming is better in the seated position, and it is quite often the only "10-minute break" (supposedly required by law every 2 hours) that I ever get, being a non-smoker (the smokers, now, are ALWAYS allowed to take a nick-fit break whenever they "need" one, but let a non-smoker sit down and management is screaming about what a lazy so-and-so you are, get up and get to work!!). That would make for a nice class-action lawsuit. Any lawyers out there interested??

Size of "package" is irrelevant, either to the fathering of children (I have 5), or to pleasuring your mate--most (not all, but most) women never experience an orgasm from penetration alone, no matter how big you are, and virtually none ever manage with the missionary position (or as I prefer to think of it, the rapist's position).

That said, I am rather fond of my smallish package, thank you, as it can be fairly comfortably made to virtually disappear, even in form fitting hip hugger jeans. The most disgusting male fashion trend in the last 800 years was the "codpiece", IMHO. Unfortunately something similar seems to try and rear it's ugly head, if you'll pardon the pun, every 30 years or so.

I applaud you for having the courage to say that you prefer sitting over standing. More men should be like you.

i think wearing girls jeans is totally fine...i tried on a pair of american eagles today and they fit so much better than my 514's...ill probably pick up a pair this week...

and don't be afraid to wear them in public, a lot of guys here in southern california wear them...don't let anybody judge you just because you're wearing girl jeans...personally, i think they look better and they are way comfortable too...

Even better solution

A skirt would be even better than jeans designed for the female form. That way the tackle's not squashed or cut in half by a seam. It's much healthier too!
