Is there a minimum age for monofibre extensions. As I got told you have to be 18. However I am 17, will they still let me have them done?

Oh is that why i saw her looking really really dreadful in a mag the other day.
Perhaps she is just experimenting. Who is Lucida Ellery? Who ever it is must feel pretty gutted that she looks such a mess. Can't be happy to see her looking like that. What has she done to her?

lucinda ellery is a salon in london which is uses real hair. theyve also dyed her hair blonde and it doesnt look as good as it did before. i think shes prob going to lucinda ellery now because they give her free extensions in return for publicity for their salon.

Had a girl come into my salon today wanting us to remove her Dome Monofiber Hair Extensions. We had not done her extensions and only deal in Human Hair so we were unable to help her remove them but all i can say is.....................

WHAT A MESS!!!!!!!

The Monofiber is truly discusting, it looked like a rats nest, i felt sorry for the poor girl, she only had them in a few weeks and hated them!!! There was no way i could have got a brush through that mess! I was in shock.

So please, anyone who is taking in the Monofiber bulls**t from the PR company posting please, please, please DONT DO IT.

Remember you pay for what you get, dont go for the cheap Monofiber option!!

that's what she had been told she had ....really!

Monofibre is fab.....rip offs aren't!

Trouble is the hairdressing industry is full of a load of blaggers with no intergrity. They shout around and cause no end of problems.Never mind their egos are fulfilled!

Birds nests belong to hair salons who are incompetent. :? :? :( :( :o

AS I ALREADY SAID I WILL NOT NAME AND SHAME THE SALON BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT FAULT WITH THE WAY THE EXTENSIONS WERE APPLIED, THE DOME HAIR WAS SIMPLY S**T!

WHY SHOULD I BADMOUTH THE SALON WHEN THEY WERE NOT AT FAULT, THEY SIMPLY CHOOSE WRONGLY WITH THEIR CHOICE OF HAIR EXTENSION SUPPLIERS

Monofibre hair

Postby Denise D » Tue Aug 21, 2007 11:10 am

Hi, i'm new on this, I found it a while back when I was researching extensions after having two disastrous sets (one Great Lengths, one Racoon) both expensive and done by top High Street London salons. They damaged my already fragile hair so badly that I had to wait 8 months for the damage to grow out enough to be able to do anything with my hair.

Then I had Monofibre put in at Antenna. After all the problems before I wanted the best, so I had Julien Guyonnet the Creative Director do them, and I have never seen a hairdresser so skilled in all my life. He had two of his girls spend 30 minutes just blending the colours, then he took less than 2 hours to do a complete transformation, and I mean complete, I look totally different and I am amazed at how good they look and feel.

Plus, even having the top stylist put them in, cut them and give me a complete care pack of goodies, they cost over £100 less than when I had a junior stylist with very limited experience put in the Great Lengths extensions at a High Street salon in suburban London.

I'm not a PR for Antenna, I work in the international property industry and I have to travel a lot, with Monofibre extensions I have never had a bad hair day while travelling as they are very easy to maintain, and I have never been to a meeting feeling like an old dog because of my own awful hair (which made me look and feel like a frumpy middle-aged woman).

Each to their own, but for me, I will never go to any other salon than Antenna; they really are the experts and Julien is incredible. And the extensions themselves don't itch at all, which was a big problem for me with the glue-in human hair, as the top of the bond is a fold of soft Monofibre so they are really comfortable. My advice would be to try a few different methods and see which one suits you best, but definitely give Monofibre a try, you might find it really works for you.
