Hi there Buffyfan; So how did it go with your skirt at work today. Well I hope. I just wanted to offer you some more encouragement. Anyone of us who wears skirts have had something embarassing happen to us. When my older sister graduated from high school, I went to her graduation ceremony with my parents and her boy friend who had graduated a year prior. The ceremony was outside on football stands. I made the huge mistake of wearing a short black pleated mini skirt. Well you can only imagine what happend. Right in front of my parents and everyone else my skirt went sky wards putting my panties on full display. I screemed and grabbed my skirt as fast as I could but it was too late. Instead of touching skirt material, all I felt was my butt. So embarassing. Even to this day, several years later, I still feel a bit uneasy when wearing any type of skirt that has a possability of that happening. Best of luck to you. Don't give up on your skirts.

Thank u everyone 4 your support. It went ok. I got a lot of nice coments since i hadn't worn that skirt 2 work b4. My slip did drop down a few times but i was conscious of it and able to pull it up b4 it showed...at least i think i did

Sorry this took so long 2 reply. It's casual day so I'm wearing tan capris with strappy sandles, a white top and tan undies. No risk of any thing going wrong 2day I did find out though from D.G. that my slip was on view a few times yesterday. I borrowed it from my mom and shes a bit larger around so it wasn't tight enuf at the waste. Next time i will have 2 pin it in i guess 1 of these times i will get everything rite at once. At least the people reading the "lady's show us your slips" thread would b happy

Hello Buffyfan, Im so glad you got over your issues and started wearing skirts again, I find it such a help as I have the same issues. I suppose the main difference is I tend to wear straighter skirts which dont blow up in the wind so I dont have that problem but they do ride up when I sit down and Im always having trouble with my slip showing or remembering to keep my knees together as I have quite chubby thighs. My friends are always telling me they can see my knickers but Im sure its not true as I do try to sit nicely.

Hey Buffyfan - it's good to see the skirts are coming out again.

Have a think about this, though - what is it you don't like people seeing? Your upper legs, or your underwear?

If it's just your underwear that you don't like showing, then you can always wear a pair of shorts under your skirt, so that even if the wind gets to it you won't show your underwear.

I remember many years ago, a friend of mine had a pair of trousers that tended to ride down and show her underwear at the waist. So she always wore her bikini bottoms with them, rather than regular underwear. The logic was that a bikini was meant to be seen, so that was alright. I'm not sure I followed her on that one - but she was happy with it as a solution that enabled her to wear the trousers, and that's all that counts really!

After a long hiatus, i'm thinking of coming back 2 ff I was horribly hurt by the comments of some listees and even guests and didn't post again bcause i was afraid of the rude comments i might get back. I never lied 2 anyone. Maybe i exagerated a bit but thats all. But i don't want 2 get hurt again. I have had enuf problems in my life like my job, my other job getting fired (long story) and failed relationships. So i dunno, does anyone out there want 2 hear from me again And BTW, i'm totally a girl, and not a very good looking one at the moment. I've gained 20 pounds back since i stopped posting. Stress i think. As for DG, someone said we were the same person. I guess that could b bcause no 1 knows who anyone really is on ff. But i culd never b as rude as DG was. She was laid off from work and has now moved out of state. I never hear from her. Maybe she will read this and post someting but i doubt it. She was pretty pissed off 2 about the rude posts about her. Thats about the only thing we ever agreed on. 2 those who sent supportive pm's thank yuou
