No more skirts 4 me

Postby buffyfan on Thu Jul 31, 2008 9:20 pm

Well, i did it. I've sworn off skirts/dresses 4 good. :!: I had another humiliating experience while out last nite. I won't go into boring details just 2 say it was a new skirt, and just above my knees so i thought it would b fine. But no. After dinner the wind kicked up and not only did it get out of control but one of the guys with who i didn't even know made a comment about my undies (they had little flowers on them) :shock: . So then i knew how much i had shown :oops: . I burst into tears and ran off to a bench 2 compose myself. :cry: I just don't think wearing skirts is worth the risk. I feel so vunarable and insecure. No matter how hard i try or even if the skirt is modest, i end up with my undies on full display. So i guess i won't b posting anymore since pants r safe so nothing 2 vent about on the Fourm.

That's a real shame, Buffyfan. Your posts have always been encouraging to me and I was thinking that you and K2 were the last 2 real women on the planet, who understand that attractive women wearing skirts are alluring to men. Anyway, now just enjoy wearing your cropped trousers every day so you can blend seamlessly into the . crowd of British Summer time chavettes.

Sign of the times in this sad society, I suppose. Or maybe you'll have second thoughts....

Hi Scratcher and all; :wave: 1st, unless i take a long trip i can't blend into the crowd of British chavettes (whatever they are) :?: since i live in Florida :!: Anyways, my bf is furious with me 4 my decision. Maybe i'll change my mind with more encouragement. But 4 now since people like hearing about Yawn Girl 2, i decided to loan her 2 of my skirts since i won't be using them. Remember she's taller than me so they will b a bit shorter on her. She says she can wear them no problem so i guess we will c if she can put her money where her mouth is. Maybe i'll bring my bf along if we go out together so he can get his leg fix from her instead :roll:

byffyfan,

That's the spirit! I hope you will return soon and maybe we can swap stories here as there seems to be interest, mostly from men of course, but other girls too!

Hi Buffyfan:

I signed up just so I could post this. I'm so sorry you had so much trouble with your skirt. I know how you feel, that's just one reason why I rarely wear them. But after reading all your posts over the past few months I get the impression you rather enjoy the challenge and it seems you're giving up now. That would be sad. Please reconsider for both your fans on this board and for your boyfriend.

Karen

ps- I tried to send a PM but apparently you need to have a lot of posts in order to do so. Maybe in a month or so I might get that far.

Aw buffyfan! You needn't give up skirts altogether!

Tell you what. When the shops are selling their fall/winter ranges, why don't you treat yourself to a winter skirt. Maybe one that's longer than the skirts you usually wear? They're heavier than summer skirts so they won't move about in the wind so much. Anyway, with longer skirts, the wind tends to just blow it against your legs rather than getting under it and blowing it upwards.

I think a skirt that comes a little below the knee looks great with knee-length boots.

I'll be sorry to see you go. Maybe you could come back to tell us about one of your skirts and how everything was fine when you wore it!
I love flared skirts, flowing skirts, flounced skirts, even tight skirts, but always long skirts.

Buffyfan;

Regarding wearing one of your skirts again. I've been down that road before and it turned into a disaster. What makes you think I will do it again? You really did put on quite a show the other night from what I heard. I don't plan on doing the same anytime soon. I do think longskirtlvoer has a good idea but in our climate boots certainly aren't too pratical. But at least you could wear a skirt again. Knowing you though, you would find a way to make it come undone, fall off or something.

Love anyway;

DG (not Yawn Girl K2)

Come on, buffyfan! We all love reading your posts. Please go back to wearing skirts! Amy, Karen, and Dawn, show some solidarity! I propose a skirt day. You all wear skirts that day, and to make it interesting you have to obey any commands that anyone may give you while you wear a skirt. Are you willing?

Sorry to hear about your skirt issues Buffyfan (and fellow American Southern Gal) but cropped slacks and jeans can be just as sexy...take it from a manager of a western wear store LOL. Your boyfriend will come around. Also when the fall/winter comes....longer skirts will come in nice and handy.

Love Amy

Guest, you've been reading too much erotic fiction. Nobody would ever go along with the idea of obeying orders just because you're in a skirt.

Hi again Karen5k :wave: Yes that was a dumb idea by guest. 1st, i have a grip. That's why i'm not wearing my short skirts anymore. They have just provided 2 much worry and embarassment. :cry: And the idea about obeying orders :?: I don't think so. But seriously, my bf has been really distant since i ditched my skirts. He has even begged me 2 try again next time we go out. He said he will even help me with it whatever that means :?: I just think he has some sort of hose fettish or something and of course u can't c the hose if u r wearing pants or a long skirt :!:
