Whilst as a Christian, I do not believe that God intended us to be gay, we have no right to pass judgement and execute those that do not fit in with our ideas. Equally those in other religions have the same "no right" to pass that judgement and execute those who do not fit their mould. We need to all be tolerant of other beliefs and that includes Muslims also being tolerant and respecting equality of gender, faith etc.

My experience of Muslims I know is they they are interested in the things the rest of are most of the time. I remember being in a restaurant in Birmingham which was owned by Muslims at the time a World Cup match was on and you could hear the staff cheering from the kitchen area and the waiters would disappear off to see what had happened.

And yes it was England they were cheering for.

In the end though I'm glad you agree that moslems are remarkably like us with remarkably similar concerns.Most moved to England to better themselves which is why so many of us have moved to - well everywhere actually.Most Moslems have a right to be in England by virtue of being part of the old . & pax Brittanica & all that
Your average believing Moslem is no more revolutionary than your typical Anglican or Methodist & a huge number are believing Moslems only in the sense that your average Pom is a believing Xtian - which is strictly for weddings & funerals only & the odd prayer when faced with the threat of sudden death
As such they have no more ability to controll their extremists as we have to control nutters like Bush & his god- bothering born agains.
And finally Muslem extremists are in no way barbaric in the strategies they use.For true Barbarism nothing equals what Brit & the US have perpetrated on indigenous people all over the world in the last 60 years - not to mention the past 3 centuries

A bump is posting to take a thread back up the list - bumping it up. Sorry, not directed at you particularly, but as I said the Original Post is not by member Kiltycol, but by a shitstirrer using a similar name. This happens a lot here.

Yes I agree completely, it's as silly as saying the whites should do something about the BNP. I don't know what we can do except the obvious - don't support them and don't vote for them.
