Nudist sauna....

i know i should have reported him, the desk was empty when i came out and to be honest i just wanted to get out of there!!! i agree that i shouldnt have let him get away with it but i was so shocked that someone would even see the selby sauna as a gay meeting place that i dont think i was thinking properly!!!

has anyone else ever seen behaviour like this at selby before? i think i will avoid sundays for a bit and go on thurs when it is hopefully a bit more evenly mixed

Does anyone have any experience of the types of people that goto the naturist session. I do not want to go if there are only pervs. Are they any other women? Rosie

hi rosie! at selby the naturist sessions are really friendly with no pervs! you really will be fine! i was a bit worried on my first visit but everything was brilliant

you can keep ur self to ur self just take a book and have a relax or you can talk to the others there (all very friendly) nobody is there to look just to have a sauna and relax

often there are more males than females but on some occasions it is a good mix! early thurs afts can be good cos some mothers drop there kids off at swimming lessons then sauna. the age range is mixed, i am 23 and did not feel out of place!

when were u thinking of going? I dont know when im next going to be there!

All of the naturist clubs I have visited have all been male dominated. I'm not saying they are pervs or anything like that but just too many chaps and no enough ladies.

This is why members clubs have to regulate who is able to join. Clubs of any kind often appeal to one sex or the other,, and naturism seems to be a male thing as far as most women are concerned. Most clubs that I know of, and the one that I operated, prefer couples.

What stopped you? What was the point at which you gave up? Is there anything I can learn from your experiences? Please … for the sake of all the ladies out there who have tinkered with the idea of going for a skinny dip ... share your knowledge.

Its good to see that Selby sauna is getting more popular.
Ive been going for quite some time, not that regular, usually on a sunday evening when theres usually 5 or 6 people there.
I did go on a thursday and was the only one there!
Please lets get more people going, i got lonely that night and i got to wonder whether i was ok in the nude!!

have u tries fraisthorpe beach for sunbathing? dunno if its good or not thou, not been!

are you male or female? it is always nice to get a few more females in so im not the only one! I might be going this aft

The group started in 1982 after I had placed an advert in a local weekly paper. Two other couples replied, and we called a meeting. We sent a letter to the committee running the local pool, and we got the go-ahead to hire the pool on 2 Sunday afternoons each month. More people joined us, and many holiday visitors as well. We closed down in 1993 after the number attending reduced, due to several reasons. Most of the people who attended were English incomers, who didn't stay long in rural Wales. Before I did some business studies at college, I didn't understand advertising strategy, and we didn't target the locals enough. At that time more people were going to live abroad, and also to holiday in naturist resorts, so a fortnightly swim wasn't enough. It was sad when the meetings finished, as many hundreds of people of all ages from babies to grandparents had joined in.

Tha members mostly came in couples and families, but we did allow singles as well. The last Chairman and Treasurer were both singles. Under 16s paid no fee, and we often had friends of friends children, sometimes we were knee-deep in toddlers, but they were always well behaved, with none of the uncontrolled shrieking that often spoil public sessions.

Well i have tried fraisthorpe but a bit windy and cold, let me know if your going to selby sauna, even better - let me know if you have a garden i can nude sunbathe in! Need to get a good tan!

Wish i did have a garden to get an all over tan in but my neighbours wouldnt be too happy i dont think!!!! Im not going to the sauna today but will deffo be there next week from 4 onwards! Do u think u will be there then?
