Regarding the percentage of females in saunas, I got back from The Big Chill festival last week and the females using the Lost Horizon sauna there easily formed the majority over the males. The ratio was pretty much about 65F/35F. In fact during the first half hour I was there on the Friday afternoon the ratio was as much as 86F/14M! I was the only male in the sauna, and there was six girls.

Incredible really, when you look at other mixed saunas(except festival saunas) in this country, where females are very few and far between. Even swimwear compulsory saunas such as saunas such as saunas in fitness clubs.

They used up to up untill 2002. They don't anymore unfortunately. Since then it's been mixed sex communal chaning area with private cubicles with wild west style saloon doors. This year it's sex segregated communal showers, with 6 shower posts each if I remember rightly.

I would be surprised if the large communal mixed showers will return to Glastonbury.

Yes they have saunas at Glasto. Usually two different saunas every year.
