my friend has asked me if i would go to nude sauna with her and her boyfriend in London, just wondered if anyone knows about these places....are they dodgy?

I know the place you mean and it is definitely not dodgy, in fact they are very strict about behaviour and everyone is very friendly and polite. Much less problem than single sex saunas..........now they can be very dodgy.

I cant understand why anyone would want to wear clthes in a sauna anyway, apart from being way too hot it is unhealthy.

Well if its the one I'm thinking of, the one in kentish town then I would avoid the place. it is dodgy attracting dodgy people. and they DO allow sexual behaviour going on. if that's the placze you mean avoid it!!!!!!!

i have heard that there is a good mixed nude sauna in selby near york only on sun nights, is this any good? do you need to be a member of any nudist club to go? whats the male female mix (as i dont want to be overun by males)? most importantly are people respectfull (i want to avoid pervs)

This is the only place i can find near where i live in leeds can anyone help me please? Does anyone know of anywhere else?

If the sauna is run by a member club affiliated to British Naturism, you have nothing to fear. Private clubs I don't know anything about. All you need in a sauna is a towel to sit on, and the idea of a jacuzzi session while wearing clothes seems daft.

It would help if the threat starter could name this place in London. Sounds like it could be Rio's. If so, do as the other guy/girl advises. Avoid the place like the plague! It's an appalling place. Don't waste your money going into that place.

I know the sauna in selby, it is naturist on sunday nights and always been very proper; it is mixed but usually more males than females but aleays polite. go there you'll enjoy it.

I have been to Rios a fews times and yes it can be a bit dodgy, but I was just there last week on a Wednesday afternoon and they have completely renovated the place, it's clean and safe, yes you get some men there looking you up and down and hoping for more than just a relaxing sauna, but they won't bother you. Saturday night is couples only and there is a lot of sex going on then, but most days all the sex is upstairs in the couples only area, which has also been cleaned up big time. I go with my husband and we enjoy the jacuzzis and sauna, then go upstairs to a private room to play, sometime we watch others up there or let other watch us, but we never swap or anything like that and everyone respects everyone else. It's a nice place.

Myself and my other half as well as a few female friends goto bristol gardens in Brighton. Have been going for several years. Are not swingers at all, just love the nude side, freedom etc

It isnt as scary as you would think by far, had a portable spa in the back garden last week and several friends ended up topless/naked when they realised what fun it is

We are born with no clothes so be proud of who you are and try the freedom

i have been to the sauna in selby! its at the abbey leisure center. The sauna will seat 6-8 people and there is a steam room which will seat 10+. There is also a relaxation area that is really good and will seat 10+.

This is the first time i have been and on this occasion it was 100% male with all but 2 naked. Everyone was friendly and i would definately go again. It is nudist on a thurs and sunday 4-9 and i was told that women usually attend on both nights but often more on a sunday

It was a really good nudist sauna and only cost £3.90
