Nudity in shared house

Im in an all female house and the newest one to arrive, and Im wondering if I should wander around nude at all. One housemate is bi and the others straight but nobody else does it so should I? Its not I want to be a flasher or anything like that but what do others do?

I'd be OK with it personally. I shared a house once where nudity or near nudity was totally normal. On the other hand, it does bother some people. I can see three options. 1) Ask the group. 2) Wait and see what eveyone else does. 3) Be naked in your own space where no one can resonably object and go by any reactions you get from housemates who call by your room.

Start off slow. For example, when you take a shower, go to the bathroom nude and return to your room nude after the shower, at some point, your room mates will see you. I'm sure if your room mates have a problem with this, they will say something to you. Who knows, maybe they will take your lead and do the same.

Just tell them that you do it sometimes and ask them if they are comfortable with it, after all all three have equal rights just because you are the newest doesn't mean you have less rights

Tried this last night and guess how many house mates spotted me between my room and the shower? None. Ah well, theres always another time, but might try instead going downstairs with only a robe on but leaving it untied so it would keep opening up.

I'm divorced, live with my daughter and nudity is normal. We sometimes only get dressed if we go out. been that way since I was married

Give it time, you are trying too hard and wanting a quick response. Patience is the key here. You want this to appear as an "accident" so if you don't get the response you are looking for, you won't feel wierd around your room mates.

Too late for patience as my plan is already underway! I have removed the belt from my gown so in order to keep it closed I have to hold it myself. So in the morning if I need both hands, say to fill the kettle, I have to let go and voila. Nobody suspects a thing :twisted:

One hand to hold the kettle the other to turn the tap so nothing to hold gown together. Nobody saw because I was facing the sink though. Still trying to make it all look casual and accidental.

why don't you wait until all of your mates are there and ask them if it is ok for you to flash your gaping hole everywhere. Just cut to the chase.
