Don't men wear earings and piercings? This will be normal too  We steroetype people too fast. I love the look and it makes me take notice of my feet. Take care of them and pamper them. You only have two for the rest of your life.

pirates look good with earrings, but gay with painted toenails

how do men with painted toenails cope with people taunting them?

No one taunts me at all. I do get some looks but they all seem to like the toes. I don't flaunt them I just wear them. I'm far from gay and really don't care what people think. I have a good reason to paint them but that's a long story.

Painted Toes on guys

Sure, I paint mine. Been at it for maybe 6-7 years. It's along story how I started, but suffice it to say that my wife was being a little playful and she painted them. The surprise, and the reason why I still paint them is that we both liked it!
Mostly, I wear grey, beige/tan, darker brown and burgundy. I'm not into looking like a gal, so the brighter more femine colors don't interest me much - just what looks good on my guy toes (and what my wife likes on me).
I was encouraged to see so many other guys that paint their toes too.

Awesome!

How could you say...How embarrassing.

I find that very unattractive.? I think it looks better than nails that are chipped and dirty along with guys trying to look cool in sandles. That's embarassing. I have painted my toes for years because they look great. All colors too, who cares. Enjoy life and have fun.

Thank you all for your opinions. Even if you don't agree with men painting their nails, your opinions are valid and they are yours. That's why makes this world intriging - that we can all have different opinions and find interest in our differences.
I also appreciate the positive comments as well. Not all guys follow the strict rules that someone set as "normal" for society (who was that person anyway...). BTW, what is "normal"? I think it all depends on who you talk to, as evidenced by the different viewpoints expressed here. There are lots of thing others do that I don't like or find attractive, but there are many things I find very attractive in others - one of them being sponteneity and unpredictability. The chance event that led to me first wearing polish on my toenails was one of these moments where I decided I had to seize the opportunity to have some fun in life and do something outside of the "norm".
I have never regreted it!

Here's an interesting story related to what we're discussing. I'm not sure if it's fiction or real, but it nicely illustrates a case where someone found an opportunity for fun!

Jake..great for you. Fun and life go together. As far as the guest calling me a drama queen? You have your narrow opinion. I accept that. If you only knew why I paint my nail you might understand. I don't need the attention believe me. Maybe you're afraid to try new things or you're too conformed by this society. Better get ready for the Revolution and I don't mean toe painting. If this country has a Revolution again a lot of changes will happen. Can you handle it or will you watch the battle on the news? I'm a leader and you are a follower and a weak one at that but, you can change. Be ready, America is under attack.

Kidding about what? Painted toes or Revolution? Google in the word superhighway and read for yourself. As far as painting my toes I do it for my wife as a symbol of support for being a survivor of breast cancer. There's a story in all that!
