Have been doing my nails for about the last 5 years. They look sexy while wearing some nylon s, and sticking out of some strappy open toed heels :P

I have painted my partners nails in sheer nail polish before..I think he really liked having shiny nails ..but wont admit it ..lol

He went to work one time though with it still on and reckons all his customers kept staring at his hands in confusion....im sure it was his imagination.

He has also come down from upstairs with his goattee pencilled in by my eye pencil ....now that was bad !!

I think men are using more & more cosmetics now though...Its not considered so unmasculine anymore.

I've done it before and kinda liked it and am sure I will do it again. Though I think color is an important factor (as in, which one. reds and pinks just look way too effeminate), I do think it can look good. I've used an irridescent translucent blue (hard to see unless you get the right angle), a silver/grey metallic flake with lots of orange/yellow in it if the light hits it hard enough from the right angle, and "chrome" (which isn't really, just really shiny silver/grey metallic), and of course clear.

I like the clear the best, and think the first is kinda 'dressy'. I've had positive comments on both that and the sliver/grey metallic flake.

However, even though I have had some positive comments and no negative ones and do think it looks good... I still find myself going back and forth on whether it's a good idea to do it or not. (because I don't want to have it write me off in a woman's mind. I'd rather not make things difficult for myself lol)

I don't like rough natural nails anymore though. I prefer to buff them (hence the username). The shine is very good (generally better than clear unless you put like 5 coats on), lasts a very long time (it doesn't wear off, so it has to grow out), is easily maintained, allows the nail to breath, won't trap moisture, doesn't require nail polish remover, etc. I'll use clear to act as a bridge once the buffed nail grows out enough that it would need to be redone (don't want to do it too often from scratch as it does remove some nail surface). I'm thinking of getting a matte finish clear actually. Something that I don't have to worry about outshining the buffed nail. lol

Oh, and I only do any of this to my toe nails. I don't think it looks right for a guy to have anything on his fingernails (IMO).

Just wanted to add what I just saw today while getting lunch. There was a young kid out with his dad. He was wearing a dark grey (almost black) shirt, blue jeans, a black baseball-type hat (bakwards) some sort of non-precious metal necklace, and black flipflops. Was a cool look IMO.

While I was standing in line I happened to notice that he seemed to have something on his nails. I couldn't really get a good look to satisfy my curiosity (and I didn't want to drive him away from the idea), but it looked like some sort of matte beige.

To me it looked fine. I didn't assume him to be 'light in the loafers' before I noticed that, and the opinion didn't change after I noticed it. (he must've been about 10'ish too I'd guesstimate)

Anyway, maybe it's a trend that is set to grow. :)

I knnew this young man (25-27 at the time) who did this. Both his toe and finer nails. It was usually black, the "grunge look." It looks silly. And rumors did start about him being at least bisexual.

I didn't think he was bi, but I did think of him being an attention-seeking wannabe who I could not quite take seriously when talking to him because of the crazy look. I have trouble trusting such a person, who to me seems very flippant and way too into themsevles for my tastes. He was a decent and bright person though and thankfully stopped this silliness.

Painted Toe nails

Postby mort on Thu Sep 15, 2005 11:11 pm

I've been painting my finger and toe nails for a few months now,
Toes are bright red while my fingers are normally clear, but have painted them pink a few times.
Most people think they look better painted, so i'm going to keep doing it.
Need to re do finger every week but toes last two to three week

Have doing my toenails for years. The way they look in some type of nylon is so yummy :). Add to that a nice pair of open toes heels, it's almost orgasmic :D . Also i do my wifes when she asks. Have gotten good doing hers. But the real practice is from doing mine as well.

I've been painting my toes for years, right now they are purple, but I have had them in red, pink, white, blue, around holidays I paint my toes different colors (ie. Halloween=orange & black, christmas=red & green, national hoildays like 4th of july or memorial day=red, white&blue, I have about 35 different polishes, alot of them in various shades of red, but I have many other colors also, I go out in public wih my toes done w/open toed sandals or open toed short heels, nobody says nothing, I have even gotten compliments from alot of women on how good my feet look, even some from some guys. but the key in painting your toes is you MUST keep your legs shaved too, I shave my legs 2-3 times a week, hairy legs & painted toes does not mix. I have even worn a nude shade of pantyhose with my shorts and nobody has even noticed. I have been told that my legs look as nice as any girls and I happen to have very pretty feet, they dont look like guys feet at all. I guess it helps that I have a foot fetish for girls feet, so I am also looking at them and mine run a pretty damn good comparision to any girls feet & toes I have ever seen, and my legs are super smooth...right up to my c*ck.

Men wearing hose

Postby BB on Wed Sep 28, 2005 12:06 am

I'm sorry but wearing pantyhose is gay. I think painting your nails is ok for most colors but shaving your legs and wearing hose has gone to far for a guy, don't you think? Maybe your fetish has gone to far. Well, I should say it has gone to far for me. Sorry, I don't mean to judge but it takes me back thinking that a guy can't notice hose on a guy with shaved legs.

Pearlesent purple is may favourite colour for my toes. Wear it regularly but not
in public although I think the postman has seen them on occasions.

Wear a clear polish on my finger nails most of the time these days. I do love
the gloss. Only time I received a comment on them was working on a fireworks
display, I said it helped stop the soot and grime staining my nails which it does.
A couple of guys had adopted my "trick" at the next display :D
