I had drunk a couple of mugs of coffee when I realised that if I didn’t go to the loo I would wet myself. As I went into the the loo I felt myself leaking into my knickers, I managed to get my trousers down but by this time I was leaking so much that if I had stopped to take down my Thong I would have peed all over the floor. So I just sat down and peed through my Thong. I then took it off and dried it as best I could with toilet paper and then wrapped it in more toilet paper and went commando for the rest of the working day!

I really don't know why, but that is kind of a turn on? Strange how that works . . .

I remember this time when I was walking home and I was still a mile or two away when I felt I had to go. I was struggling as I was walking along quicker, when I was about a block or two away, the urge was too strong. It was trying to come out and by the time I had gotten behind a garage, it had already started and I was soaking my jeans. There really wasn't a point of opening them up at that point, so I just finished, got home and changed. I guess it happens :?

I was told that fully continent adults (pensioners not included) never have accidents no matter how desperate they get.

catonia, you're absolutely right. It's not true. If you need to pee or poo bad enough and you can't get to a toilet (or choose not to use one) you will eventually have an accident. Continence is about voluntarily controlling bodily functions within reason, it's not about successfully holding for ever and a day. There is a point beyond which it's impossible to hold and the choice is a straight one between finding a toilet quickly (maybe with only seconds to spare) and having an accident.

The human body has in-built measures for times that people can't/won't respond to their bodily functoins - namely, when the pressure exceeds a certain amount, the sphinchter which is under voluntary (your own) control, will automatically relax way before any dangerous level is reached.
In some people, this fails and they end up internally damaged.

I once got told that only infants have accidents, which is codswollop.
Nuts to whoever told me this^^^ they made me think i had something wrong with me

Most people have occasional sccidents in the course of their adult lives and plenty of 'close calls' when circumstances dictate that they make it to a toilet with only seconds to spare. However I think some people are more honest about it than others. It's one of those things that may people tend not to talk about much or at all because of their conditioning or upbringing.

That's true, but i hate it when people say it's only for infants because i'm sure that anyone would have an accident after holding it too long.

When I was a young teacher, in my mid-twenties, I worked for two years in Germany. One night, coming back late from a party, I was bursting to pee. It was after midnight and the public loos were closed but there was still quite a lot of people about. I was starting to panic because I knew I could not make it home. Really desperate, and feeling my panties a little damp, I realised that it was about to happen. I just stood in a doorway and wet my knickers, hoping no one saw me. I just couldn't help it. At the time, I felt terribly embarrassed but now I can get it more in proportion. It is nothing to be ashamed of if you have done your best to wait.

Sadly, you may well be right, Catonia, though I think the word "ridiculed" is , perhaps, a little too strong. Certainly if it happened to a young person and others knew, there would be quite a bit of teasing. There might also be some unexpressed sympathy because at least one of the teasers, if they were young teenage girls, would quite probably have also wet herself quite recently, and got away with it. In the case of an adult among adults, I would expect there to be some mild amusement, but a good deal of sympathy. Catonia, I hope you never have an accident, or, if you do, and you probably will sometime, it goes undetected. If people know, I hope you find kindness and understanding.

In westminster on Friday nights they have portable urinals.
It looks quite odd to see men peeing with girls nearby.

In infants and junior school, the teasing would go on forever.A boy once had an accident in year 3 and they teased him until his very last day which was at the end of year 6.They just wouldn't let him live it down, but i found that in secondary school, people who got taken short learned to hide the humiliation and be very discrete. As the toilets were locked for the whole 6 hours on quite a few days, some of the boys learned to go against the walls of the corridor when no one was looking.
The next school i went to,they'd open the toilets most of the time and if they were locked, the cleaner was always near by to unlock it,so there were no stains in the corridors.

I quite often pee at the football matches i go to, just where im standing, i see a hell of a lot of others doing it too, i think its one of those things you know is wrong but is more acceptable now than it used to be as most people nowadays just do the same, similar in a way to peeing in bus shelters/phone boxes is more accepted now that it was 20 or 30 years ago, defication on the other hand is something that you rarely see in the football stands, and quite rightly so..although i have seen a few in bus shelters which i think is just disgusting, the perpretrators being no more than animals
