peeing in public

Postby emmajane2 » Sun Aug 10, 2008 5:28 pm

if needs must then i find a quiet corner of a street, park or alley and pee.
Just pull skirt up and pee. I don't wear knickers if I'm going out drinking and will need to pee discretely

I dont see why in most buildings where the toilets are adjacent to each other they cant knock through between the ladies and mens cubicle area and make them available to both sexes via a door.

After all, the mens cubicles are used somewhat less frequently than the ladies and if they were partitioned off from the urinals, then for the majority of the population there should be no problem.

I say 'majority' because there will always be some male pervs who see it as a license to spend all day in a cubicle hoping a woman will pee next door, but if they really are that far gone they're beyond help anyway and need sectioning.

Also, there will be women who would not even entertain going anywhere near a cubicle where men may have been spraying the seats, walls and floors - but that would be their choice, and they could wait for the ladies cubicles to become vacant, but others take the risk.

Charming! We'll draw a discreet veil over the disgusting habits that some women have. And they NEVER dribble on the seat when they get up, do they?

I see in the papers that Paula Radcliffe stopped for a kerbside toilet break in the marathon. On telly! now that's what I call public peeing! Funny the men don't find it necessary.

I didn't see it, but did she pull her shorts to one side, or just wee through them?

I assume anyone desperate to pee should just pee their pants then? Or hold until they do themselfs and injury? As it rains a lot in the UK any pee in the street soon gets washed away.

This was in the marathon a couple of years ago. Paula Radcliffe simply peed through her shorts. Here is a photo:

As long as your discrete and dont offend anyone, I dont see what the problem is. There aren't many public toilets and none are open late at night. The ones that do exist are normally dirty smelly and you have to Q to use them.

I have to say I regularly pee in public places both late at night and during the day. When I gotta go, I gotta go! We're all human and all need to pee from time to time - it's not always possible to get nature to hold back until you fnd that one public loo. Get over it!

I agree with you about public "conveniences" - they are often inconvenient and disgusting.

Paula Radcliffe didn't have time to search for a WC, in fact I don't know if they even provide them for the runners in the marathon. Squatting in the street in front of spectators was the only option.

When I go out jogging I often get the urge to pee, and like Paula I just pee through my shorts. As long as I'm wearing dark coloured shorts it doesn't show and no one really notices.

Strange that you're happy to do that, and talk about it, but that you also said this:

Let me clarify. What I meant was that you thankfully don't normally see a ghastly VPL like this with urine oozing out. It is the urine which makes that VPL look even worse.

I agree with needs must, but I also think that there is a place -preferably discrete.

This is a must for girls but I often think guys are just being lazy when they stop and go literally anywhere.

I was recently at Virgin V Festival in the UK and was shocked to see these freestanding green plastic urinals place literally in the middle of no-where with guys peeing into them.

I was even more shocked to see two girls standing up using them! Yuck.

...well at least they were using them rather than squatting on the ground in the middle of the field!
