Do the steel anklets bind up on the tendon on your ankles? Because real leg irons can be painful to walk in. Also I would be interested in reading your journal too.

My anklets were made for me, and I got used to them very quickly. I do have callouses from them. The leg irons pinched and damaged my skin. I guess they were never intended for "recreational use".

They were rounded when they were made. I like the jingle/rustle of the chain when I move about, so I don't need or desire something to hold it up. The chain is almost always removed when I go out.

If Google can't find it-it may not exist. I never drove with the chain on. I'm sure it's possible, but probably not very smart. I think it would gurantee getting pulled over by the cops for a bad tail light or something.

Has your hubby ever tried it on? You know to to just to see what it feels like.

Grace
Do you have children, if so what do they think or your close family and friends?

Santa answered my request and brought me a pair of fairly thick ankle chains. Hubby had them specially made and the clasps are designed to clip shut but there is no way of opening them without cutting them off. I put them on immediately. They have a ring attached which is used to fasten a linking chain which has a tiny lock at each end. Hubby holds the key. There are three different lengths of chain, a very short hobble, one which allows me to take reasonable steps and a longer one which I've found I am in danger of tripping over and will need to be shortened a bit. I love being restrained by the chains and last night we went to the local pub with me wearing the second chain which attracted a lot of attention.

You must have some of those expensive german cuffs? The ones that close-just once. My anklets are bolted shut, but are permanent only because I don't have, or want possession of the tool to remove them.
I'll bet you attracted attention. What else were you wearing?

Do you often go out chained?
I've heard Europe is more tolerant of alternative fashions and lifestyles.

I was wearing a fake fur short jacket over a black semi see-through blouse no bra so my nipple rings could be seen if anyone looked closely, short skirt and strap stilettos. Went out to a club for New Years Eve last night similarly attired and attracted quite a lot of attention.

rhx112 - since I have only just got the anklets and have gone out chained twice since its too early to say whether it will be a regular occurance but I suspect it will be.

My husband has suggested that I get a septum ring so he can take me on a leash. I'm very excited by the idea but worried about having a needle thrust through my nose. The nipples were painful and I suspect that would be much worse.

Instead of shortening it try adding a support chain sometimes called a gang chain.

Thanks, but we've taken three inches off and I can now get a reasonable stride without tripping over the chain.
Actually I prefer the middle chain which restricts the length of my steps a bit but still lets me get most places.
At home I'm on the hobble chain and it seems to take ages to get from room to room with very tiny steps. If I need to go upstairs I have to crawl.

You could always wear a collar locked around your neck.
