Did you start with standard ear piercing (18 gauge) and then stretch to 1/2 inch or did you start with a larger piercing?

Have you ever left the jewelry out of your lobes to see how much they shrink back?

Just curious. I have heard you can stretch as large as 2 gauge and they will return to normal if done properly.

i had my ears pierced at about 8 guage and then tapered (where they put a long metal shaft in your ear that starts small at one end and gets bigger at the other end to stretch it) to 00 Guage. Then in a period of about 2 years i stretched it up to 1/2 andi love them!

i was wondering about the guages...what is the biggest size that u can stretch them to on the first stretch??? i want to get them done and i just want to know how big the biggest size is... thnx!!!

I just thought I’d let you know I got my left ear double pierced last week, and it’s a slightly smaller gold stud than the stud I have in my first hole. At the moment opinion has been divided and I’m still getting used to it. But I’ll see how it goes.

I just thought I’d let you know I got my left ear double pierced last week, and it’s a slightly smaller gold stud than the stud I have in my first hole. At the moment opinion has been divided and I’m still getting used to it. But I’ll see how it goes.

a good place would probably be a piercing pagoda booth, and if u can't find any of those you can always go to claires or the icing. Most guys that I see getting their ears pierced get a CZ (cubic zarconium) stud. I prefer the square studs to the round ones, and most guys i see where i live have square CZ studs. But if you don't like that, then get what you want. Their your ears and you should get wht you want
