Where is a good place to get your ears pierced and im a guy what kind of studs should i get my ears pierced with.

a nice pair of gold door knocker earrings will look good!

Trolls, don't you just love 'em ?

I just pierced my ears at claires it took me awile to go in but i did it,i pierced my ears with little gold studs i like them and so does my girlfriend .The lady that pierced my ear was very cool and good at it so i give advise to others go to claries.

I'll agree with that. My eldest son has his done there and they were professional and clean. My second eldest will be having his done sometime soon.

Claires is relatively safe for the first piercing. They use the gun though and if you get more than one and move up the earlobe it could cause some damage because of the gun. Be sure and find a place that uses a needle if you go any higher.

this forum is for people to decide if they want to get their ears pierced...not for people to talk about how they don't... if u don't like them, then thats you choice... but we dont want to hear it every time we type something new...

I'm not a big lover of cartilage piercings, but I'd say go for the lobes.

Hey Guest,

I certainly would go for both earlobes. The cartiladge, I don't know.
Furthermore, take som time to start reading at page one and you will find a whole lot reactions regarding earpiercings for boys.

It's ok.

I have my left ear pierced twice, right ear pierced once and a cartilage piercing in my right ear. But to be honest, the cartilage piercing is the one I least like. Go for both lobes, you won't regret it.

Scott.

Go with both lobes and stay away from the cartilidge piercing. Cartilidge piercings are harder to heal and more suseptible to infection. Plus, I don't think they look as good. Lobe piercings are more acceptable and can look nice with the right selection of jewelry.

I think you've been getting some good advice here! In my opinion, cartilage piercings always look ugly and I don't see any point in them. On the other hand two lobes done once always looks neat. That's my recommendation. Go for it! Claire's is another recommendation.

I don't know how much use this will be, but having taken my 16 year old into Topman (in the UK) there are quite a range of earrings for boys/teens/men at reasonable prices. They are also specifically for males, hence my sons interest in them.
