Pointy shoes: Love 'em or hate 'em?

I love wearing pointed toe shoes with nice heels.. they look fab on legs.

they are great with skirts and trousers and amazing under a lovely pair of bootcut denims.

I don't think they'll ever go right out fashion. I still wear them for work and several of the girls I work with do too. The overall effect is worth the pain. All retailers still stock several pairs of pointy stilettos which more or less proves the point. And they still look a hundred times better than round toes under jeans.

I'm in the minority. Hate them passionately. I think it makes your feet look way too big.

For some reason pointy toes with stiletto heels look the best.
I think they make the foot look smaller.

All shoes must have pointy toes and spike heels, at least 3-1/2". I have over 200 pairs and wear nothing else.

Eek. Sounds like I'm gonna be in the minority here, but my feet are kind of big and if I wear boots or shoes with REALLY long pointy toes it makes my feet look even bigger. I like a tapered toe, but not super pointy. LOVE spike heels, tho!
