Wikipedia says it's a Klingon sword from Star Trek. So I guess that would be copyright infringement...goddamn nerds.

Star Trek is pretty popular, which would make the copyright on that particular weapon expensive. Not worth it just to feature it possibly briefly in a zombie movie. but, if they take the idea of a two handed kaiser type blade, such as the Bat'leth, and tweak it out of the description, you have something similar, but no copyright infringement.
