arranged weddings can be a bit of hassle when you barely know the guy, all ya know is that "he's from a good family, lots of money, good job! what does everyone in her think about arranged marriges?

i think its a route to a life of misery unless you're either, a) REALLY STRONG or b) very lucky to be marrying somebody you connect with.

No offence to religons and whatnot, but I think it's pathetic. When I was in primary school one of the girls went to india with her parents and got taken off and married off to an old man, she was only nine. I think arranged marriages are probably just as petrifying and degrading..

you've got the wrong impression of arranged marriges, its basically like a dating bureau through your parents, you say to your parents, I wanna guy 6ft tall etc. etc. they find you on e they meet the family of the guy and they meet the guy himself and if they like him or think he's decent enough for you then they tell you about him and you go out with him, if you like him you get married if you don't oh well there's plenty more guys out there!
