The thing is I am 56 and fancy having my right ear pierced as well so that I can wear a pair of earings.
Do you think that I would look stupid at my age.

Well I bought some hoop earings and put them both in one ear as I had two holes in my left earmy wife noticed them and told me to take them out as I looked stupid I was gutted and took them out.
What I wanted to do was to have my right ear pierced so that I could wear them in each ear so as I say I am gutted.

What would your wife say if you told her to take her earrings out?! I think it is wrong for a spouse to not support the other. You should talk with your wife and let her know that you want to wear earrings and that they are simply nothing more than an accessory like a necklace, watch, bracelet, etc. Let he know that it isn't fair that she not allow you to have this freedom. Get your right ear pierced and put your earrings back in.
Hi I have decided to tell my wife that I want both ears pierced so that I can wear a pair of earings and that I am going into town on Saturday to get it done. it is up to her if she likes it or not.
Thanks for the replys that have made me decide to have it done many Thanks
Steve

I've been trying to convince my 46 year-old husband to get at least one of his ears pierced for 15 years, and last year he finally gave in and let me pierce both of his ears. I love them! I'm not sure why, but I find them very sexy, a turn-on for me. I love to play with his earrings. He is glad that we did it, too. He works in creative field, so that sort of thing is not really frowned upon as much as in some other professions.
I am very piercing-oriented myself, with 10 in each ear. Now that my husband has broken the ice, we are both thinking about moving "below the neck" for our next piercings.
