Dying blonde hair brown

Not sure if there is already a topic on this so i'm sorry if there is.

I have light golden blonde hair, blue eyes and pale but rosy skin. I've always wanted to try having brown hair but i'm really not sure what would suit me, does anyone have any ideas? I'm just worried that if I do it and it's awful it will take me a long time to get my blonde hair back.

Hey Becky, is that blonde natural? I was like you, and i thought why not i'd go for it>when i look back at some photos eeeew it was horrible it didnt suit me 1 bit. Im staying blonde.

I just added a posting about blonde hair turning gray. I have naturally mousy blonde hair - some call it dirty dishwater blonde. I have always highlighted it to have blonde streaks but last November thought I would try a light brown. Others thought it was too dark for me but it did match my eyebrows perfectly. So twice since November I experiemented with box color. My last color from April started lightened really fast and my roots had a rust tint. Yesterday I had my beautician fix it. She put an all over ash blonde on my hair hoping it would neatralize the rust. Now I have ashy gray hair - sounds gorgeous doesnt it! I have washed it 6 times since yesterday afternoon. So I have learned 2 things - never experiment with box color especially so frequently and dont pay attention to what others think about your hair. 4 people told me in one week that my hair looked orange so I decided to fix it although I didnt think it was all that bad. I trusted my beautician and she even said she didnt know what it would do. So now, I will learn to love my blonde hair (whenever it comes back) and only highlight it occassionally. Too bad I have to wait for a year to get back to normal.

I'm sick of people making blonde jokes I love my sexy blonde hair and blue eyes, but I'm sick and tired of these stupid ass people who always have to say something about me F****** stupid ass blacks think that they were born to be something special. I wonder why they pick on blondes all the time. They could just as well make jokes about brunetts or red heads so why do they make jokes about blonds? I think blonde haired women are beatiful myself.

My hair was blonde (naturally, up untill i was about 11) and then the roots just started growing dark brown, so i dyed the roots back to blonde.

My friends say my hair looks really unhealthy... which it does and to dye it brown for about a year so it becomes healthy again...anyway i agreed to do it when i get some more money

BUT I JUST CANNOT IMAGINE NOT BEEN BLONDE... it frightens me and i cannot do it i have decided

should i just put lots of different blondes and dark brown streaks in and then just get a good cut and lots of hair treatment???

Hi! i really need some advice before i decide if I want to color my hair. I'm thinking about dying my hair dark brown, but I'm not sure if it will suite me. I have natural medium blonde hair, and my skin is pale with pink undertones. But i also have a lot of freckles but mostly only during the summer. Will Dark brown hair still look good on me??

My hair was also natural blonde until i was about 11-12 years old. Now a very dark blonde kind of weird color is growing out, so i tried dying my hair back to blonde, but it wasn't a good idea. My hair really suffered from the chemicals. I couldn't either imagine mýself without blonde hair. but my hair is getting darker from each day. I actually think your pretty lucky getting a dark brown instead of a grey/Blonde color like me...!

Hey, I am having the same dilema with deciding whether or not I should dye my hair darker. My natural colour is a dark mousy blonde, and my hairdresser says my hair is getting really dry looking, and that she would like to dye it a light brown to give my hair a break. Please help me, is this a good idea or will I be regreting it a week later

I'm wanting to go travelling to China this year and have heard that the regard blondes as a novelty and want to take pictures and that. I had this problem when i went to Paris when I was younger and didn't like being stared at! So am wanting to go brunette for my trip. I'm scared that my natural colour won't grow back after - has this happened to anyone?
