According to the ladies who work in a particular clothes shop, girls like the look of guys in tight jeans, and try to coax the guys into buying jeans that are too small for them. For those guys who take their advice and buy the tight jeans and then wear them in the presence of intelligent women, the result is that these women scream, (in a good way), so perhaps there is some truth in what the shop girls were saying.
