Asking a Friend out

Theres this girl i really like, we been good friends for the whole school year. But when i was with my last girlfriend i couldnt stop thinking about this other girl stephanie( my friend) so i broke up with my girlfriend. heres the thing tho, i've never acually asked a girl out before, its just a thing that started happenign or i was asked out. So i have absolutly no idea what to do when asking a girl out. What do i say when asking a girl out?

Im not sure how much she likes me also, but other people say she does like me, or they think she dones, when we went on tour we hung out practically all the time, i didnt acually notice if she likes/d me. when i hang out with girls i flirt with them all the time and they flirt back, so i dont know how to tell if she likes me now.

well this is what ahppened to me....i asked her out and she said ill think about it saw her and she didnt really talk to me and didnt get back to me so after 3 days i said so whats ur answer she goes nope so yeah is she doesnt answer then its a no go

Though with my current gf i like pashed her even b4 we where goin out so i knew that she would say yes....so maybe thats the way to go i recon make sure u know she will say yes.
