Kallan, I agree. I wouldn't wear them as regular footwear, but they sure would be fun once in a while. The problem therein is I don't really go places that would be somewhat more accepting of wearing womens boots. The one time I wore a heel out in public was at the market in a pair of black ankle boots with a 3" chunky heel, and since my jeans aren't long enough and wide enough at the bottom to cover them better, I was busy using my grocery basket to "distort/distract" the viewing angle of anyone close to me. The whole thing was uneventful, but it was nerve-racking, so I don't know if I will ever do it again.
I'd love to get my hands on a pair of thigh-high boots, if only just at home to feel it encase my legs with that tight feeling. But still knee-highs are the best overall. The last pair I bought was black vinyl 2" platform knee-high with a 5" heel, and those are totally funky but fun to try and walk in.
Too bad I don't have a female friend (not even a girlfriend) to share this with.
