I think your own piece of music would definately add something to the day.
I've got a wedding music question of my own actually...I'm my sisters Maid of honour and said I would put together a play list for the day (for inbetween speeches and before the DJ etc) I've pretty much comprised a list of all their 'special' songs and 1s I know will make her cry!
Her hubby 2B is part of the Zoroastrian faith and comes from the same part of india as Freddie Mercury. I've been told about a Zoroastrian singer Shayan Italia and want to add a few of his tracks in as a nice touch ...but am unsure which 1s 2 pick because hes a new artist....i dont wanna put songs in that wont be popular!!
http://myspace.com/shayanitalia.
Any suggestions would be so, so appreciated! I wanna get this right!!
I think 'Forever' and 'Soul' ar my faves.
Any other wedding appropriate song suggestions very welcome!!

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I got married in a pub because I didnt want a church wedding but still wanted some tradition. I walked down the aisle to Ave Maria which is beautiful but we couldnt decide on a good song to play while we were signing the register so we decided to play something to make people smile so we had Paradise by the Dashboard Light by Meatloaf! If you dont know the song its about a couple making out in a car and the only way he can get his rocks off is to promise to marry her!
