Why girls only - don't you think blokes could have a sensible viewpoint on the question??? :D

opaque tights

Postby 9276 on Sun Dec 30, 2007 12:23 am

I think that they look very sexy and are practical for women as you don't have to worry too much about shaving your legs, also they can be great for men as its hard to see that they are nylon and will definately keep you warm, so in short they are good for both sexes.

Black pantyhose..

Postby Bushwalker on Mon Jan 28, 2008 6:37 am

One advantage of black pantyhose for men, could be that (at least from a distance.) noone would know if they were pantyhose or regular men's tights..

Plus some of the camouflage advantages mentioned above.

Depends. For a dressy look I think they don't work too well. I think tights should be sheer for dresses and skirts. For working out under a body suit I think they're great. Keeps you warm and you feel covered.

Hate to disagree, but this year opaque black tights were shown quite a bit with holiday dresses. Especially, a shimmery black opaque tights. Neiman Marcus showed this look a lot on its web site. One Manhattan Wolford store was sold out of "satin deluxe" tights early in the holiday season.

Wife wore a shiny berry color dress with Wolford satin tights with black peep toe shoes, and she looked great.

Opaque tights were (and are) simply the hottest look in fashion right now. Women are wearing them with everything, including cocktail dresses.

Great for us guys that really appreciate black opaque tights. We're glad that the style is back. But it may only be a short time until this changes.

Not trying to offend, just giving you a tights lover and a guy that loves women's fashion opinion.

I wear black opaques when its cold usually with a denim skirt at the weekend. Never for work as I dont think they are smart enough and prefer sheer tights usually pale tan.
