2 nightmares last night

First,i dreamed that there was a beetle infestation in my home and my mum kept having to collect them in jars and put them outside,but they just kept coming back.One night,she dropped the jar and they flew out and landed on me.They were the side of a hand.

I woke up and managed to get back to sleep and i had another...

I was unconscious and while i was,i was like a spirit or something and i ended up in the mind of some guy who was being kept in a dog cage by a psychopathic guy on a secluded farm.
He'd been kept alive for months and months,locked in and the cage.It was designed for a large dog,but a psycho decided to keep a person in there to be cruel,as it wasn't big enough for him to move about.
The bad guy sounded like he was from Texas,but his face was blurred and he used to tell the imprisoned guy that if he tried to escape,he'd lock him in worse conditions.
I could see out of the victims eyes.I talked to him in his mind as well.Like i was possessing him,but wasn't in control,i was talking to him in his mind and sharing his sights.
I kept saying to him "That latch just needs a good tug.Keep pulling it!" but he just kept saying "No,it hurt last time".
Anyway,i made him pull the latch and it clicked open and i told him it was his chance to run,but he knew the mad man was waiting to see if he'd escape,so he didn't.
Eventually,i possessed him completely and made him run for it,as he was too scared to do it himself.
The deranged man saw and ran after him/us with a shot gun.
After a while,i remember regaining consciousness once i'd helped him escape.
